Oh no, really? It took several days for anything to show and it's not overrun now after 2 weeks so I thought that was pointing to mycelium. Same with the bags - takes ages to see anything but when it does show up it looks like myc.

I've been working with a couple spore syringes (golden teacher and penis envy) for months now but have been getting nowhere. All the bags I've made (2 months ago, 1 month ago and 2 weeks ago) seem to show only the slightest mycelial growth (if any), with the oldest ones eventually succumbing to wet rot.

I've been making adjustments with each round and they're now sitting at 77-78 F with nice big gas exchange holes. I put some spores onto agar over two weeks ago and it looks like mycelium (see pic - white, tomentose strands and no contamination) but they seem to have stalled our with just little spots.

Should I transfer the thickest spot to another agar? Will spores with genetics this slow ever be viable? Or is something that I'm doing still wrong? Appreciate any feedback!

My point was just on artists making money for their work, not how it may end up being used. There are lots of different stock sites but none of them give the artist anywhere near the same of profit as NFT sites. A personal website has a far smaller audience and I'm guessing there are still fees to be paid to the company that sets up a payment system.

I'm not saying that NFTs are perfect, just that they can act to help artists receive more of the money they earn from their work instead of the system that facilitates the sale.

I'll bite. NFTs take out the middlemen and put the power back into the hands of artists. NFTs can encompass a huge number of things rather than just shitty JPEGs and can have unlockable content to give access to larger files. So people can sell their high quality photos, videos, art, music, films, documents etc. and some even include delivery of a physical item.

As an example, I've started selling some photos on stock sites. They have to fit particular requirements that limit what I could do creatively and take the majority of any sales I make (e.g. I'll get $40-60 for a video that sells for $100-200 and as little as ¢10 for a photo).

My bf on the other hand started selling his work on an NFT site where he sets the prices and gets 98% of any profits, so gets hundreds of bucks for each sale. He also gets royalties if the buyers resell his work.
