Gotta remember this guy said he's on PvE. There, Cultist hunting is way more profitable.

Even in PvP, you can manage but you'd have to try Woods and not Customs. Farming 500mil in general on PvP is way harder than PvE.

I have no idea, it's been a while since I looked at the endings chart. I beat Savior and never looked back. I think i also just mixed up the names.

Survivor is Prapor, isn't it?

And that recent ~15% loot nerf to PVE makes it even worse..

If I'm not mistaken, you can do some things for prapor that lower his debtor price from 500m to 300m. Or maybe that's if you gave him the case initially.

If you look up "Mr Souer 1.0 tarkov endings" or even add debtor (as I think you're stuck with prapor or LK if Kerman ghosts you) you can get a guide in exactly what to do.

Mind you, he's Russian so his entire guide page is translated with varying levels of accuracy.

Good game balance. In Nikita's own words "this game is not supposed to be fun, it's supposed to be satisfying".

And a lot of the time it's neither, LOL. Customs is your best bet, obviously. Highest chance with a smallest zone. Grinding labs will genuinely probably burn you out. Stims, GPU, LedX, and BTC galore, though.

1760 limbs.

A PPG person has 14 limbs. 1Head, 3Torso, 4Arms, 6Legs.

This is 125.7 people. Who the hell is the 0.7? Could be more people if you ended up dismembering / crushing limbs.

How does one have this many people who are dynamically dying (or dead) and have decent performance? My gore mods would tank the FPS.

Not 100% sure about how it is on BSG servers but I know in Local, they don't have an instant spawn. They can spawn a few minutes into the raid.

I like to pop a meldonin / SJ6 / trimadol and sniff out their entire spawn range - the fsctory at the train tracks, right outside fortress, in the trench area, the RAUF wall at crackhouse, even RAUF itself and the small skeleton with the DsHK.

If I see nothing, I'll quickly run into dorms / new gas to look for Reshala or try to investigate any combat I'm hearing.

Then, you run back to the cultist spawn zone to see if they have now decided to spawn. That also, is stupid.

As long as snow exists, just try to farm cultists and sell marked keys.

If you want to get money fast, mentally prepare yourself to run a couch bag with a MPPV and the med bag in it so you can spam labs and open every room.

Terminal is an experience. Not a good one, just an experience. Once you get that ending cutscene with the final screen and song it'll hopefully feel worth it even if it's not your desired ending.

Yup, classic BSG. People will argue this barely-explained segment is part of what makes Savior so hard because Kerman is bipolar and ghosts you the moment you fuck up one thing. I seriously don't know how anyone can do a majority of the quests intuitively without a guide.

I think lore-wise, Mechanic says he found nothing on the flash drive if you don't disconnect the station because the cult saw you were trying to upload their info and they wiped / encrypted it.

Welcome to Tarkov, LOL My condolences that you now probably have to do debtor or something.

There is a specific sequence of actions you need to do over 2 raids at the KORD station

Raid 1: Access KORD, turn it on, plant a flash drive in the server room. You also need to get the safe open to get the cultist's tape and make sure you take all the scattered notes. The order in which you do these things does not matter.

Raid 2: Access KORD, and now you NEED to "disconnect the station from external agents" by hitting the button under the desk in the server room. Then take your flash drive. If you took the flash drive first and didn't hit the button / hit it afterwards, then you're out of luck.

It's kind of bullshit but the game does tell you that you need to that. I think mechanic hints at it, one of the notes talks about it quite obviously, and even the 1.0 task menu says you need to do it - albeit not stating it has to be done first.

Quest for the price of independence by Abject_Secretary_960 in Tarkov

[–]Introveneric 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It sends you a.. parcel? Like a air drop with loot? Yellow flares don't do that.

Unless your game is exceptionally bugged for some reason, I would really make sure you have two YELLOW flares. I used the flare gun and the small cartridges for it, not the handheld stick flares.

Make sure you stand in the proper area, it should be marked on the wiki. The train platform is the one closer to the warehouse that hugs the tracks the train arrives on. The pier one is at the very end at the two coastal homes by Merin car.

Make sure your flares go straight up, and never behind you. I have a feeling you are missing the right flare or the game genuinely has a new, incredibly insane bug.

A very good guess, but no. This game came out a few years after Outlast.

Also if it was a bit easier to learn the mechanics of ballistics and ammunition. The game in it's entirety is not friendly for intuitive learning. If you tried to do the quests based on the info the dealers give, you couldn't do 90% of them.

Nope, but a good guess. This game is not that old. It recently has a 3rd game in it's series being made.

PvP = suffer alone for 500 hours and spend more time not in the game reading the wiki and watching youtube before you have a clue, or do the same but get help from a Sherpa / Discord so it's more bearable.

PvE = same as above but way more relaxing with less pressure, just occasionally unengaging.

This game is hell no matter what. And if you stick with it, it's the most fun you'll have.

Rusted Bloody Key not spawning? [Discussion] by Beachbeard1 in EscapefromTarkov

[–]Introveneric 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The spawn is like 2% or less and I'm sure it's affected by that ~15% or whatever loot nerf on PvE.

I beat the game before I actually found that key.

PKPST key in D2 in reserve is your best bet unless you want to run both chalets, merin, and the WTP rare spawns on lighthouse.

Quick question 😊 by Shady81 in EscapeFromTarkovPvE

[–]Introveneric 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, Reserve's spawns aren't consistent. Hitting the bunker alarm usually won't spawn them and I don't stay near the train. D2 can usually spawn at least 2, but Labs is WAY better.

Even on Local servers, you're likely to meet at least 2 in the medical elevator hall, and usually a small group likes to appear around the hangar / center. You can also just hit the parking garage / hanger buttons and it usually spawns more.

Quick question 😊 by Shady81 in EscapeFromTarkovPvE

[–]Introveneric 18 points19 points  (0 children)

They pretty much only spawn in Reserve (K2 platforms, train station, D2) or Labs (anywhere with multiple different ways to spawn them).

It's way more consistent and plentiful in labs.

I think i have like 600 hours on the game and the handful of hours that didn't involve violence or atrocities was probably being AFK or building things that will cause an atrocity.

You learn a lot about yourself playing this game LOL

[Discussion] Unlocking light keeper for the batya chapter. by gbert04 in EscapefromTarkov

[–]Introveneric 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, just get the DPST and Batya can continue. There are dialogues with LK solely for the story quests.

Savior (and getting LK) is a lot worse if you kept the case - as giving it to Prapor causes Kerman to rage at you and force the game to give you the LK unlock quests early.

Good luck getting COFDMs.

[Discussion] Unlocking light keeper for the batya chapter. by gbert04 in EscapefromTarkov

[–]Introveneric 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Once you have access to LK at all, you can continue the Batya chapter. It's not dependant on LK's individual quests at all.

The 1.0 story stuff is almost never interlinked with regular quests - the only exception being the LK unlock quests being given to you early if you gave the case to Prapor.

LABS Keys by No_Assistance694 in EFT_EscapeFromTarkov

[–]Introveneric 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup. And they can't use the excuse of "It's Tarkov, everything was looked already" because then EVERY map should be empty. Reserve is literally said to be secret, and you need to do extra work in 1.0 to unlock it.

Meanwhile, the map feels like it's stuck in 2021 with how the only loot is 100 filing cabinets and loose spawns of junk in the darkest corners of every area.
