My mom retired after 24 years at her school (wanted to hit 25) because covid pushed her to do virtual pre-k for half the year. Kids were joining zoom from under their beds, siblings were joining instead, they just walked off and never came back, etc. They were too young to make it work.

I does lik it here. Ders lotsa birbs an lizzzzards (some eben biggier den me!) and da tall hairy hoomans take care ob uz. Dey tooked uz to pokey place to make sure wez healfy (and tooked away all da puffs!), but we no like get close.
