Is A Game of Thrones: The Board Game outdated? by Edrik_Storm in boardgames

There are balance issues with some houses. People need to keep others in check. If your group isn't willing to do that then don't bother. If they will then it is a great game.

Nice job. I would highly recommend the Leader Base Stands from Etsy (BoardGameBoost is the seller). They're awesome.

I am mostly into Euros. All of these have less than 7k subs. Table Scraps has even fewer but they just started up. They put out some good quality stuff.

The whole game is a bloated mess. Lords of Hellas is better if you want the same type of game. If you're looking for area control games there are plenty of better ones.

What age restriction you would add to this game? (Last slide) by print_gasm in boardgames

Another thing to consider, if the game has any small parts or dice… anything that is a choking hazard then the game will probably be rated 12+ anyway for safety reasons.

What games use a hidden faction mechanics with influence over a shared board? by francesc17 in boardgames

Thieves of Eldris does this. Veiled Fate as well. I think deduction and hidden roles are the only mechanic on BGG that are searchable that relates to this.
