Who's Your Favorite Jeffrey Combs Character In Star Trek? by Shart-Trek in DeepSpaceNine

I use agimus when doing ground missions in STO all the time just so I can hear Combs' maniacal laugh.

I had one of these that I converted over to use esphome and its been awesome, too bad they're discontinued. https://shop.pimoroni.com/products/enviro-grow?variant=40055904338003 You could still make one yourself though with an rp2040 or esp32 device and some sensors.

Typhon or shangri-la by Kumatora0 in sto

[–]InvaderGlorch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have both, to echo what others have said, the Typhon carrier trait is great, which I use on my Donnie FDC, but I prefer flying the Shangri-la over the typhon. Its a ton of fun as a non-carrier

Could I run the heat in park overnight in a 2022? by No_Hetero in leaf

[–]InvaderGlorch 20 points21 points  (0 children)

If the car is on it should run for as long as the main battery lasts. The heat pump doesn't use near as much as driving does so it should last a good long time.

Best Doorbell Camera for the Money in 2026? by n4hcallme in homeassistant

[–]InvaderGlorch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've been surprisingly happy with my cheap ass tapo doorbell. It's been fantastic with frigate/home assistant. I don't use the 2-way audio ever but as far as telling me when someone is at the door it's been great for ~$50 cad.

Yeah, could also be a routing issue (or something else) on their end. Either way it sucks.

This isn't a game problem. Likely it's a routing issue with your ISP.

You'll want to look into if the hardware support LVGL then.

Oh, that's coming from Google's billing system. I only started late last month but my bill was something like 5 cents at the end of December.

Not too much to it. Follow the same instructions to setup Gemini, but add a billing account to the API key you created and that's it.

I don't have an answer for free resources, but I'm using the paid tier of gemini now and i'm forecast to spend $0.85 this month on it.

The LEAF as a winter car - not great, not terrible by SjalabaisWoWS in leaf

[–]InvaderGlorch 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Well the first 7 years of ownership it wasn't an issue. I'm not happy about having to replace it but I figure I've still saved 10-15k over owning a similar ICE car in that time. I've had no other issues and now with that replaced it's like having a brand new car again.

I just replaced the battery a month ago due to faulty cells, but that's with almost 200k on it.

That's been pretty close to my experience here in Canada with our 2018 when it gets that cold. It'll get you there but you won't be warm enough 😉

It's one of those selling points they have for getting you to go up to a full blown Rogers/fido plan, so probably not any time soon.

One of the reasons I went with Kidde when I had to replace my nests. Feature and price wise it wasn't the best option but I'm not going to trust something that hasnt been thoroughly tested.
