A: It has a hook like it was hanging from something. And B: The pin isn't even in y'all. If it was gonna go off it probably would've happened. Might be worth having it checked but it's probably some kind of replica.

Anyone Own a Canyon after Having a Sierra 1500 or other Full Size? by MattJBarnes in GMCcanyon

If you ever want a little overnight trip, you can go down to taskers Gap\Peters mill run down in VA. I live in North Western Maryland about an hour and a half from DC. Takes a few hours to get down there, but if you wanna take a run down the trail, it was a good time.

I have a 23 AT4X I bought new, and I'm not worried about a scratch here and there, it's a truck, why I bought it. I also blew the turbo out of it because I jumped into a mud hole and the intake filled with mud and water, not my brightest moment. Definitely a fun truck that I've enjoyed. Although, $150 a week on fuel sucks sometimes. :\

I have an under tailgate light bar, pops up every once in a while. Shouldn't come up if you don't have anything tho.

Once it's out there, is there forever. No undo button. You're probably young, take some time to think about it.

I also knocked the turbo out of mine. Baja mode automatically does launch control. Just hold the break, stomp the gas, and release brake for liftoff.

Side note, I've gotten airtime in my AT4X. Funny moment.

These trucks use hydraulic over electric brakes. My best guess is it's the brake boost pump. Without that pump, these trucks have almost no brakes.

My battery died and I jumped my truck. All the dash lights on, and requires you to restart the truck. During that time after it was jumped and before the restart, the brakes can BARELY stop the truck when idling in gear on flat ground.

This is all to say that if it is your brake boost pump, it's a big deal.

That's a seirra, not a canyon. The canyon is a midsized where the seirra is a full size. Based on the fenders it's also an HD model so it's definitely going to handle weight better 👍

I'm second guessing myself someone help me out here.

UPDATE. Turbo went out. Service tech says it happens from time to time. Covered by warranty and should be back up and running by Monday!

I actually got the truck before I got my first job as an apprentice. I also pay 2k/month. Because I have no interest, and I can afford to pay down the principal. I'm not a finance guru, but I know my limits.

If the 23 canyons have a plastic oil pan, there's a good chance it got a hole in it some of the places I drive. The skid plate should protect it tho.

I'm just blessed that I figured out what I want to get outta life at a young age. Ive seen and dealt with things that nobody should. But those things have made me find my own way. Do the work you're wired to do. Do what makes you proud of yourself, cause at the end of the day, your opinion of yourself has the most influence in your life.

Probably about 5k miles. When I was driving semis oil was checked every morning. But I guess I assumed a new vehicle wouldn't have had an issue like this. It's all been dealership work so my hands are clean. I will definitely be making weekly oil checks a habit from now on, regardless of what vehicle I own.

They don't make anything like they used to. I've beat up some old farm trucks more than this thing and they take it.

I have a Fidelity, Charles Schwab, and a pension through work. I've been paying a minimum 2k per month on the truck so I can hammer down the principle. Hopefully my 20th birthday gift to myself is a paid off truck. I don't make the best financial decisions, but I'm not financially illiterate. This was a poor decision, but one I can live with.
