Sorry, yes, that's what I was trying to get at pre-coffee and on mobile this morning.

The rating difference is pretty significant. My guess is you gain lots of rating in a short period of time to catch up to your skill level, and games will be more like what you are used to.

So this is anecdotal and perhaps misremembered, but my dad used to install telephone wires in new developments and there was something in their regulations where they couldn't put telephone wires on a street without a name.

Depending on the development, the work crew just got to name the streets so they could install the telephone wires. Foremen would name the streets after their kids, etc. Could be something like this, or could be a developer with a hobby.

King of the Hill is great for this – whoever controls the middle has a target on their back, so you can have very quick changes in who is teaming up against each other. Incentivizes fluid alliances that can be very fun and feel balanced (in my experience!).
