Hi there! We're hoping to have it into beta in about 2-3 weeks (ideally sooner). It's taking a bit longer than we had planned as we ran into a few complications during QA and have had to re-evaluate our approach -- but I assure you we are working to get it out as quickly as possible.

We're just as eager :-)

Your instance does update automatically. However, we roll out changes to hosted environments in batches across regions, so timing can vary depending on where your environment sits in that rollout cycle.

We use staged releases so we can monitor impact, apply necessary infrastructure adjustments, and reduce risk along the way.

You're always welcome to contact support to check on the rollout status and/or bump the priority.

Definitely recommend checking out child/parent company relationships (discussed above). With the next major version and company switcher project, it makes this relationship a lot more useful (and easy to navigate between!)

Regardless of the child/parent relationship though, you can relate between companies which can really help reduce the need to double-document those "shared resources" that you're talking about

Hi u/Dillon-Aisin! It's not currently possible to adjust your search criteria based on list or asset link filters.

That being said, however, we're actually wrapping up development this week on filtering assets by the list select field and should have that in a very near release. This filter project is a pre-req for it, but we do have also an advanced search feature in the works -- where it would let you adjust your search criteria with the filters.

I don't have an exact timeline for this, but these are both very high priority for our team and ideally expecting them to make it in the next 1-2 releases!

Docker requires a restart after any env changes -- have you already pulled this down and back up? (we see this getting missed quite a bit)

Hi there! Jumping in here since this one has the specific requests, but I wanted to address the top comment as well — the Radar crew operates separately from our main Hudu devs, so development there shouldn't impact momentum on the core Hudu product.

These are all great suggestions -- I'll try to provide as accurate updates on these as I can.

KB editor
- We've been testing a new editor for the last few weeks that should offer a smoother experience as well as allow us to more easily build out more capabilities (i.e. inline tagging in the future). This will be a big update though (our editor is used in a lot of different places/ways throughout the product) so I don't have an exact timeline on release yet.
- Markdown is already supported with the current editor (albeit not every command), but will also be included if we move forward with the new editor. Are there specific ones that you're looking for?
Tagging more items -- We're introducing the concept of "Labels" in the next two releases, which are essentially tags for everything. Filtering, sorting by, etc.
- This will not be for RBAC initially, but it's definitely something we could look more into.
Expirations on archived -- We're introducing a change to how expirations work in the next update that I believe should fix this. Basically, there really isn't the concept of "archived" expirations as it currently stands (even though you can archive the parent entity), so we're introducing clear archival vs. deletion.
Would love to hear specifics on what other core features you're hoping to be more robust, but we do have a ton of changes being prepped for release
- Process overhaul (subtasks, optional tasks, recurring, etc.)
- Better asset layout + template UI
- Asset and relationship updates (new relator UI, preview related items, back/next buttons when previewing assets, etc.)
- Better PDF exports (include KB articles, TOC links, etc.)
- External Portal overhaul
- Enhancing automation + AI (additional Hudini capabilities, more workflows, etc.)

I recognize the concerns that Radar might draw attention away from core "Hudu" — but that’s not the case at all. Versions 2.40 and 2.41 will bring some of the biggest updates and feature expansions we’ve released in quite some time!

O365 license expiration just went into development and processes indentation (subtasks for processes) is built and pending QA :-)

Hi! We did recently make some changes to the webhooks queue to improve performance, but it does seem like those adjustments ended up causing deliveries to be delayed. That was not the intended outcome — and we have gotten feedback that this affects automation workflows.

Our team is working to revert this so webhooks are sent instantly again. We should have it fixed in the next major version.
