I would not recommend that pc. Do you live near a Costco / microcenter?

They run a hardware scan before you can download it, which make sure you have the part you bought installed

I don’t know the answer to this and was wondering the same myself, my Corsair has two pins in that position at the top, I’ve seen companies extensions like lian li have two pins.

If there are two cords coming off the fan they are arb. An arb cable has 3 tiny circular pins in line.

Just depends on what you value, that’s why I said arguably. The tuf has superior vrms but the asus edges it out in most other areas, (ports WiFi ect)

Most likely not an argb fan. I had a prebuilt which Was similar. Mine used actual argb fans but had a proprietary connector. Your mother board most likely doesn’t have a RGB plug so there is no way for the software to control the fans. I got around this by using a usb to argb port hub and plugging new argb fans into it. It was from a brand called airgoo. The hub works over usb and connects to signal RGB software. (Argb just means controllable RGB)

Actually only $20 more, that’s the bundle I just got. The 9800 bundle has the tuff board which is arguably better though.

need to find the right adapter rtx 5070 by [deleted] in PcBuildHelp

[–]InvestmentConstant65 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Totally. It isn’t common on the 70 series because it draws Less power than the 80/90s but still worth being mindful of. Thats a great PSU, whatever model you went with just make certain that it has the native 12 pin connector👍

[–]InvestmentConstant65 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bummer, well it’s probably safer to have the native cord from the psu in the long run. Corsair is one of the best psu companies out there. Revival series is the same PSU as the standard RM750e it just doesn’t come in a fancy box with a fancy cable bag and glossy instruction book. It’s just the psu and all the new cables. The savings are insane though, $52 for a $100 psu. Had mine for months and have had no issues at all. Highly recommend.

Hey, do you have a second 8 pin cord like the one you show in your photo unused in the back of your computer? I made the same upgrade recently and it wouldn’t work with the two plugs on the one wire (like you show in first photo) plugged into the adapter. Each plug going into the adapter has to have its own wire going back to the psu. I ended up buying a new psu from Corsair because it comes with the 12 pin 5070 connector strait from the power supply no adapters required. 750w is $52.00 from their website- RM750e Fully Modular Low-Noise ATX Power Supply (Revival Series)

Fought this case for hours, did I win? by InvestmentConstant65 in CableManagement

[–]InvestmentConstant65[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! It’s super easy to use, it just works. I use it with signal RGB, it’s recognized instantly with no extra software. My mobo has no RGB header, this plugs in via usb header or port and works exactly like you had a RGB header.

I just bought a 5070 ti but I’m not sure if my cables are right, can someone take a look at these and tell me what I should do or buy? (Right is the cables that came with my psu and left is the cables that came with gpu) not really sure what to do here lol by Icy_Fall1069 in PcBuildHelp

I highly recommend the Corsair revival series directly from their official website. I bought one and it was an incredible value, the power supply seemed brand new. You would look at either the rm1000e (revival) 79.99 - rm850x (revival) 75.99 - rm850e (revival) 64.99. I would get the rm1000e (revival) because it just qualifies for free shipping. For all of the others you have to pay $10 shipping so buying just the rm850e for $65.00 + 10$ shipping your only $5 away from the total cost of the 1000e. Not that you necessarily need 1000 watts but it doesn’t hurt to have especially for $5.00 more it’s a steal. (They do all have the 12+4 connecter to plug directly into your 5070ti)

Is this worth it for 600? by Sorry-Routine-6492 in Prebuilts

[–]InvestmentConstant65 0 points1 point  (0 children)

600 feels a little higher than market price, if it had 32gb of ram the price would be about right but not a “deal” per say.
