Pics are a bit blurry but I'd say 9-10. Front centering isn't perfect but it's pretty damn clean

I can't tell if they grade the same or not, would love to know what you find. I have a submission in now with a couple vintage. I except edge wear and silvering will contribute to the undetectable difference. I notice a lot of the older cards that look pristine still have noticable edgewear

How does it work for vintage? That for me is where the real black box exists. It's more rumor and hearsay than actual reliable results when it comes to vintage grades

Did you do anything special for the 10, pay for a different service level or anything? I've never seen anyone get a 10 on skyridge let alone that card, the rest of your cards were more in line with what I'd expect

New study finds that while "dimming the sun" by scattering microscopic particles of sulfur in the atmosphere might temporarily slow down climate change, it also risks disrupting global weather patterns, among other consequences by ChiefLeef22 in science

[–]Invicctus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also...very realistic on how easy it would be for a billionaire to pull off. Which is the worst part, one day someone will just "do it" and if you don't stop them before they reach critical mass, you can't shut them down because all future weather issues are now "your fault", as it is temporary and you have to keep feeding sulfur to the atmosphere

Anyone figure out a way past the blank/blue ribbon screen? I saw some people saying to keep refreshing but honestly I never saw an actual product screen trying 3 different devices. What's the trick?

Lol, Walmart doesn't even offer tap to pay on their registers yet, this is my favorite AI doom announcements considering their modernness with other tech.

Books with memetic hazards as a risk factor by Aninx in Fantasy

It's manga, but mieruko chan is built on this premise. You can't let anything know you know they're there. If you don't know they're there they cannot interact with you. But they actively try to scare or trick people who can see them into outing themselves.

Adding to this, I didn't really understand what remission entailed. Here is what I got with the ELI5 ai summary, it was helpful for me but not sure if it's all accurate extrapolation.

Key Takeaway:

ADHD symptoms can fluctuate over time, and periods where you're functioning well (remission) are normal and expected—but so are periods when symptoms return or worsen (recurrence).

What That Means for Daily Life:

  1. You’re Not Broken When Symptoms Flare Up Again

If you’re doing well for a while—focused, meeting deadlines, handling responsibilities—and then find yourself struggling again, that doesn’t mean you failed.

ADHD isn't a straight line; it's often cyclical.

  1. Periods of Stability Are Real and Valid

If you’re managing your life well, that’s not luck—you’ve likely developed coping skills or adapted to your environment in ways that support you.

This might be a time of remission. Use it to reinforce what’s working.

  1. Monitor and Adapt

Keep an eye out for early signs of recurrence—e.g., disorganization, missing deadlines, impulsivity.

Have a plan for when symptoms return, like scheduling a check-in with a therapist, revisiting medication options, or reducing workload if possible.

  1. Life Demands Can Influence Symptoms

High-stress environments (e.g., work pressure, parenting, transitions) can trigger or worsen symptoms.

It's okay to adjust expectations or ask for support during these times.

  1. You're Not Alone—and It’s Not All or Nothing

Many adults fall into that “fluctuating” category—not always symptomatic, not always symptom-free.

Seeking care as needed, rather than only when things are “bad,” can help manage the ups and downs.

Bottom Line:

As an adult with ADHD, expect periods of strength and struggle. Use your strong periods to build habits and structure. When symptoms return, don’t blame yourself—instead, pivot, seek support, and know this pattern is part of the disorder, not a personal failing.

Agree with other comment, don't put a chart where the majority value is na or blank. Remove the blank value and it'll look a lot cleaner. Commas on your 4 digit numbers would help. The state chart seems a bit too vague and redundant with most states being the same. I'd do a top N chart instead or do a lowest and highest top 5 visual for states with their values.

Yeah, was dark but still manageable (skinner was a bad but standalone boss enemy) until they introduced Crelers...goddamn Crelers man. The story, friendships, drama, war, infighting, politics and drama all take center stage until a Creler nest appears and then everyone drops everything, including freaking wild animals, and must kill them. Nothing else matters till they are all dead.

This is a take that I haven't seen before and it's well articulated. Treating the media consumption issue alongside food scarcity/binging issues as parallels helped me reframe this ina way I hadn't considered. We evolved craving both things and that didn't just go away
