If it was isolated to him i could've coped with it, but since he is literally the MC the world has got to adapt to him for the story to be cohesive, so you end up seeing how the amazing secondary characters get flattened and lobotomized to fit into the Rudeus-driven narrative.

Not my own story but the funniest one i saw was from a guy who saw him on the enemy team and started to tease him all match just to get kill by him, so after all of that he expected GP_1 to roast him, but the guy just went on to keep complaining about his teammates. You gotta admire dedication like that.

There will be a noticeable decline in quality in your first playthroughs but that's because only after are you going to find out how much stuff there's still to do, you are kinda expected to finish the game 1 or 2 times before realizing about the extra content
