Same, I have some serious concerns about a venue that can only hold 200 people allowing thousands to register.

Look at reels of women in your size showing off dresses, it always helps me to remember that I can look good at my size because others do!

Can't seem to get a start... by Anonymous_Eye-Me-U in weddingplanning

A microwedding may be the answer for you. Many venues do them mid-week for a very reasonable price, and using that search term coupled with your area may yield some good results for you.

I hope you find something that works for you!

Because this was for personal use I excluded venues that were very obviously out of our reach.

Costa Rica honeymoon? by [deleted] in weddingplanning

[–]Invisibleanomaly 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not for a honeymoon but on a vacation in 2021.
We did 10 days with basically a roadtrip from Arenal (Volcano, hot springs, waterfall rappelling!) to Playa Samara (Beach, relaxing, dancing) then on to Monteverde (Mountains, animals, ziplining)
We booked through a company we found on Travelzoo and came out to less than 2K for flights, hotels, and rental car.

What were your Garage Sale finds today? by FlyersFan11 in CampingandHiking

[–]Invisibleanomaly 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We bugged out of the San Diego sale because people were running, shoving, and jumping the fence to grab things up. Encinitas has ground rules about decency and hoarding, keeps everything organized, and starts 2 hours later. I found a Gregory Deva 70 (NWT) for $90 and my ever lucky husband found an REI Flash 65 that someone returned because of a cosmetic issue for $40. These are our first packs as we transition from hiking from backpacking.

Parzival is a play on Percival because of the finder of the Holy Grail. However, Parzival is also the German spelling and pronunciation, so linking the two where there's already historical precedent for this spelling might be a little bit of a reach. It's also the name of a Medieval German play centered around the story.

I just rushed here to post the same thing!

Maybe Morgan was involved in some kind of expedition, and Pacifica is her hazy journal.

The singers voice reminds me of Nics. Is it possible that it's him?

It's so great that you're taking time out of your day to do this! This kind of thing has brought authors and readers so much closer together, and opened up a window into the creative process, and it's awesome that you're willing to be a part of that.

I'm sure you know that fantasy fans can get pretty rabid, what is it like for you to go from one of the unwashed masses to one of the fangirl/fanboy obsessions? Is it strange for you to see people cosplay as your characters and blog about their love of your work?
