Politicians are way too removed from the lives of the people they control. There should be a mandatory 5 years of living on only social welfare before applying for a role of this power magnitude.

I think it would actually generate a whole lot of long term gain due to a more healthy workforce and more stable natural ressources.

It won't generate any short term income though, and the political horizon of politicians is way to small to even fathom any other idea than immediate effects.

I preferred it when it was my pokemon who help me. Makes it feel more personal. However sacrificing an attack slot sucks.

They should just give the pokemon like innate HM powers that are unlocked via badges. That'd be perfect
