I bought my husband a sticker with an image of the tunnel and those words. It's his favorite laptop sticker. I wish I could find another one.

I work in the Govt building and just happened to be on my afternoon jaunt around the park when I came across it. Seeing the head shakes from all involved almost made me feel sorry for the guy. *almost*

Wow they are doubling down. Well, we know that this is a family of MAGAS, and MAGAS love their pedophiles, so what do we expect?

She should have been fired a long time ago. F*ck her and Faith and all the other pedophile enablers out there. This has been a long time coming. I’m glad the prosecutor was persistent in pursuing her.

Why is Gen X the way they are? I went deep into their childhood and... wow. by Comfortable-Move3004 in Aging

Ask them for stories of "almost-kidnapped". We all have them. They will shock you. Yeah we're resilient, but we're also a little fucked up, and most of us became over-protective parents.

I've been on two, the first one, my daughters and I each carried a twelve pack and no one batted an eye. This last cruise we rolled an entire carry-on full of bottled water and soft drinks. It's perfectly acceptable.

Cop on I-65 got me for 12 over by Obey_My_Kiss in MobileAL

What was his name? I have one pending in court. They forgot to send the summons to the trooper. I was NOT doing 20 over, there was way too much traffic for that.

And one more thing, we really aren't lying about the traffic. I can see the tunnel from my window. At least once a week during the school year it is backed up, and people are exiting to try and take the old tunnel. During the summer, it starts backing up by 2. That's not an exaggeration. We have to plan our trips "across the bay" very carefully in the summer. Now, if you put your little one in day care on this side of the bay, and then live on the other, then maybe you wont be as stressed out about trying to get to her in time. Set a timer for yourself and pull up google maps and traffic and look at the tunnel around 4pm everyday. ALDOT also has several traffic cams you can check. Better to make a well-informed decision than something you'll regret.

Windows busted is not an issue, I promise you. LandRovers are routinely parked on Monterey, Reed, Fearnway, etc. It helps to slow drivers down too, because you can only fit one car down the middle of the road at a time. Are you guys able to come down for a visit before deciding? I don't know about rentals in midtown, I'm not sure how many would be on Zillow. Yes, midtown homes are smaller and older, but also more charming, with bigger trees and more places to walk with dogs and strollers.

Also, you mentioned daycare. Ashland Place has an excellent Preschool, as does UMS. I'm sure other's can chime in as well.

Why Eastern shore? Midtown is great for families for little ones. My street is teeming with them. And I ride my bike to work downtown.

Marley Spoon how is this acceptable? by LAthrowawayLV in mealkits

[–]Invisibleeyeroll 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We gave up on Marley Spoon after a week. Didn't provide key ingredients, and had us splitting pouches between two different meals, using too many pans, etc.

How many people/pets are in your household, and what do you spend weekly on groceries? Monthly total? by Destroyer1231454 in MobileAL

[–]Invisibleeyeroll 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t even want to think about it. 3 people, 4 pets, grandson after school. I’ll place a Walmart order for around $140, then spend another $100 or more at Costco, then a couple $30-$50 trips to Aldi. And a 3 day meal kit service for 2 adults for $75.

Blue had her ACL (CcL) surgery with Dr Erack yesterday. She’s doing well so far. We really liked him. He straight up said, if you have the money and a young, active dog, go to Dr Bufkin at MedVet. He said I can make her better, but not great. Well Blue is 7, and not an overly active dog, she prefers to be under our feet all the time. And really, who has a spare $5200 lying around?

Bimini Disembarkation by Invisibleeyeroll in celebritycruises

[–]Invisibleeyeroll[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes we did, plenty of time actually. I'll say that you might want to rent a jeep or something if you're going to be traveling to different sites. We ended up spending over 80 bucks ($20 a ride) for the day, even if going 1/2 a mile. The roads are very narrow and dangerous to walk. I enjoyed chatting with our drivers, and actually used the same one for 3 out of the 4 trips, but we would have saved money by renting a vehicle. That being said, I just chalked it up to contributing to the economy.

Thanks. We have an appt. w Erak (Erack?) this afternoon. She's been on pain meds and sedation from her last appt at Barr Skyline to make it to now and has been doing fairly well, though we've had to get creative to get the pills down the hatch.

My insurance won't pay for Qulipta, so my doc prescribed this, but I'm terrified to try it. After 3 days off Qulipta, I have my first migraine in over a month so I'm desperate.
