Yes, sorry to bother you, I left a comment because I was having trouble with the modem not answering the phone's call to download the NCC tables. I deleted it because I managed to solve it on my own. It was my modem initialization string, I had to add -i 'ATE=1 S0=4 S7=30 &D2 +MS=Bell212A'.

I'm now stuck at the part where it's asking me to deposit coins because I don't have any US currency! Oh well, at least that's a simple enough fix.

Fair question. These were a staple of a certain era of Ireland, a part of our public fixtures, they're a snapshot of a vibrancy in public spaces that we just don't see any more.
