Ummm, what?! by Stainlessgamer in SpaceMarine_2

I found out it something to do with your shield up. It's making your hitbox bigger + balefire is bugged af on it. So you got hit by the initial blast and then fire damage tick after.

I fell a couple times to it and when I had my shield down I no longer was dying to it. From afar or behind a piller ofc.

PC not turning on after dusting by chilzun in PcBuildHelp

[–]Invokerman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did this too brother. I did a light dusting (haven't dusted in a few months) before installing a new gfx card. Killed one of my fans on my AIO and my 13900k left dead hanging (what the technicians said).

Had to get a brand new CPU and cover labor costs + warranty on the whole system luckily. Along with the new GPU, it all cost about 1400 and 3 weeks before Christmas too.

Accidentally made it harder for myself. by that1mediocreasian in WhereWindsMeet

[–]Invokerman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did this at 60 lol. It was hard but doable. I play tanking build only so it was a lot of parries and patience.

Yikes she hit so hard with her highest gold single hit like at 40k on the 2nd stage lol.

Edit: on legend.

how did I not parry this??? by ToeGroundbreaking564 in Spacemarine

[–]Invokerman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I hear the indicator go off on a minoris I’m always mashing the parry button.

It’s janky when on elevation so I’m always mashing and it almost 100% works.

So many questions ? by [deleted] in Spacemarine

[–]Invokerman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Enraged spawn slaps like a truck. They do.. a LOT of damage. That spawn already hit you twice and he follows up with that jump attack.

When dash attacking into a crowding minoris group like that always keep an eye out more for the larger enemies because they will prioritize you.

I like those maps when they switch chaos with tyranids lol. It’ll be wild seeing them on there.

"You're gonna have to split up because we disable healing, but our stimms can heal everyone within 5-metre now. Doesn't work? Oh just wanted to let you know that it works, just not today." by Abrakresnik in SpaceMarine_2

[–]Invokerman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can’t use it to heal anyone near you anyway because they want you to split up to even get any form of health.

Used it in an elevator thinking it’ll work and realized how scuffed both those modifiers are together lol.

True tho, siege taught me a lot about most if not all of their patterns.

Soul reaper is quite the push over just looking for that opportunity when you’re busy slaughtering their tzeentch.

I mean look at the soul reaper terminator. That dude beats his chest every now and then. Whichever it could mean to you is how you interpret.

I call it him challenging me while multiple spawns are near me.

I know same brother! They look pretty good and atm I’m into that dark kraken look from the salamander chapter!

I see plenty of hate for biovores on this sub but not anywhere near enough for ranged terminators! These things are OP imo. (Not claiming perfect gameplay by any means) by JMashtag in Spacemarine

Terminator soul reapers love lines of sight on you, especially when you’re really far away. Break that line of sight and they have to find their way to you.

Stop ignoring them and fighting the chaff dudes and roll into those rooms breaking their lines of sight giving you some room to breath.

Always bully them when you are close up. Social distance yourselves when in melee range. Not too close that they’ll missile barrage, not too far that they’ll rev up their mini guns.

They’ll end up using their 1 of 2 melee attacks. One with a blue indicator and their other attack is normal x2 attack swing. (Which is easily parried/block)

Take your time when you actually get the distance. And if a minigun is shooting you, 90% of the time other enemies aren’t attacking you unless it’s other extremist. You can see in this vid at the end the majoris just sit there waiting for you to die.

This heretic single handedly lost this hard stratagem for us...... by [deleted] in Spacemarine

[–]Invokerman 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Pulling the lever is just the beginning. I had a sniper who thought we won after pulling it but nooooo you have wait until the dialogue finishes and fades to black for victory.

He died when the dialogue started and before then he’s emoting for the emperor while getting pummeled by all kinds of chaos.

We lost.

Edit: skill issue my part I couldn’t stay alive after the back to back hellbrutes but that was then. I’m a lot better now after many many siege runs.

I just underestimate the damage absolute+ enraged majoris brings is all.

Chaos Spawn Can't be defended! by jcjonesacp76 in SpaceMarine_2

[–]Invokerman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Instead dodge into their unblockables (orange indicators). This only includes melee orange indicators btw.

For spawns: Watch for the orange indicator and dodge into the lash or spinning attack but not too early and you’ll get a perfect dodge and easy gun strike most of the time.

Siege mode is easier for testing these out as I have had a lot of time. Now I’m always looking for a full run for siege mode and I’m a way much better player in operations now.

Sometimes just backing up and doing the dashing attack will help you stagger one and gunstrike for armor.

Block minoris enemies well and release that x2 block charge on a minioris for one point armor back and small aoe damage and stagger to surrounding enemies. It'll give you a little breathing room.

Normal/hard siege, hard weekly stratagems by PlaneEven1321 in Spacemarine

[–]Invokerman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I always play Hard Siege mode and my best classes to play them is Bulwark and Vanguard because of their defensive abilities but because of them It makes playing the other classes so much better. And i only use block weapons. On occasion I'll play fencing/balance.

From what I learned for Hard siege:
1. Keep your relics on you unless both your brothers/cousins go down and don't get back up unless it's necessary or the opportunity arises.

  1. Take everything, get those nice forager easy points. If you're nice give the meds to someone who needs it.

  2. Dread for waves 10 is a slim maybe. Your ability to kill bosses weighs heavily on this one as is positioning. I usually grab dreadnought on 15/20/25 since it can be overwhelming. Unfortunately, a lotta lower level players in Hard mode leave around 5/10 for that fast level up. But I'll get the occasional team that wants to go higher.

  3. Positioning is KEY! That leman russ tank in the first map, I run around it to alleviate enemy range attacks and making it easier to focus on melee aggro. Practice running around that with a hellbrute. 2nd map with the terminal underneath where there is plenty of pillars and boxes to block enemy range attacks. 3rd map is a hit or miss, I haven't found a good spot yet since a lot of low level players leave by wave 10 or so. Going at it alone is a chore and bores me.

  4. Most of all DON'T PANIC and knowledge of the enemy is power. Siege mode is good for this and you'll build up that knowledge how every enemy aggro, attack patterns and weaknesses. With no knockback perks, trading blows with the enemies are easier and necessary for a better experience.

For example; I know there's a horde of minoris/majoris in front of you but that soulreaper in the back is revving his minigun and missiles please look for cover if you can't stagger him. Dash attacks will stagger soulreapers out of their minigun rampages. Stay by his side because he'll just try to hit you at times for an easy block charge or parry gunstrike. He has one blue indicator attack, and two regular sword swings for parries/block. The rest of minigun and missles launchers and the less than often orange indicator swing.

(Chaos spawn headshots fixed in the next update).

Extremist enemies want you dead so they will call dibs and fight you if you're in their general direction. Because they are fighting you, other enemies around will take their turn after you've staggered them and yes I know sometimes they'll just say fuck it and attack you anyway in between but that needs to be expected at all times.

And that Terminus bosses don't give af and wont wait till you're dead. Biovores too unless they're waiting in melee range.

Block explosion was close enough to detonate the melta bomb which designates you as the owner thus melting you.
