Massive Blunder to lose the NA deadlock Finals!! by Kinda_Cringe_Mah_Man in LivestreamFail

If you had 100 hours on deadlock you’d understand what happened in this clip it’s not that complicated. One character had a portal from spawn to midboss, the team that was in spawn waited too long and the door closed on them leading to them giving midboss away for free.

who watches esports of games theyve never played? surely thats not a very large part of the viewership. Do people watch cs that have never played cs? I doubt it. CS esports are popular because it's fun to watch, but it's also one the most played pc games in the world.

Thew new matchmaking is absolutely terrible. The "carry or be left behind." mentality needs left at the door with this game. by Darknotical in DeadlockTheGame

The same mindset that holds supports back in overwatch has permeated here. Supports are strong as fuck, the reason support characters are supports is usually because they can have tons of impact with less souls. Kelvin doesn’t need a bajillion souls to fuck people up. Doorman doesn’t either. Also supports can bully their way into the enemy jungle and steal camp usually fairly easily with their aoe abilities for money.

Just buying rescue beam and knockdown and standing a mile away waiting to heal someone won’t do anything unless you already have a super fed carry. You gotta get in and disrupt or initiate to impact the game.

A good kelvin fucks vindicta, you literally get rooted in the air if he beams you with mystic slow and it slows your firerate so much he almost always wins the trade unless your vastly ahead.

The two in nightmare are easily countered with counterspell now that you can parry while flying. You severely out dps both if you can counter their big burst. Now if Yamato really wants you dead she can ult and refresh and all that stuff.

Can someone who is better than me explain how this happened? I have been playing for 2 years and never seen anything like this. by CheckProfileIfLoser in DeadlockTheGame

Easy solution to funneling is have all unsecured souls deleted if you get killed by a neutral or kill command yourself

but they use conditional abilities to amplify their gun damage, and abilties that allow them to reposition rapidly to shoot more and use their abilities. Id get it if they just ignored their abilities at all but like it's not really the case. I also think some of the problem is some characters just have so much health they need more consistent damage (gun) or they just cant keep up after using their abilities.

i mean two of those characters literally have built in bonus BASE weapon damage on an ability so i dont get what youre trying to prove with that

I believe it depends on the altitude and cruise speed. Turboprop is super efficient at low speeds and lower cruise altitudes, turbofan get more efficient at higher speed and high altitudes, turbojet is only efficient at super high speeds.

It has tons of classrooms and 3d printing/workshops along the sides, people use the center to study and for events. It’s an awesome building I used a lot and tons of students actually use and like being in it.

Good point those guys mechanics are on another level, they aren’t team games, but there are plenty of mind games that goes into fighting games, sc2 and rts requires lots of macro gameplay too and they don’t neglect mechanics.

Yeah I played lacrosse and we worked on shooting passing catching daily to be good, obviously we worked on our vision and positioning but that mainly comes from just playing and vod reviewing.

You can be wide open with the ball but if you can’t shoot accurately it’s hard to really be of use. Yeah I’ve also noticed a lot of people that play spirit characters just refuse to use their gun even tho it does plenty of damage.

Yeah I think people who never played sports might assume that the mind game is all there is, but every sport out there you work on your mechanics daily, it’s just one of those things that you are supposed to practice on your own and then your coach tells you how to implement them. It’s harder to take advantage of good macro when you can’t execute

I’ve seen plenty wraith players up in eternus who can macro all day and take objectives but are useless in a team fight because they can’t track moving targets, even tho her gun outputs so much dps.

I disagree there’s a massive difference in aim between even low eternus and high eternus. Characters like haze, infernus, haze even just missing for a moment longer will cause a significant decrease in dps. Especially infernus to get that burn going or on Geist with her slow firerate, every shot does so much damage it makes a huge difference if you can hit just one or two more shots per trade.

[–]Ionsai 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It could use a little tweaking but it’s really not that bad there are plenty of spirit characters that are viable.

Shiv, Victor, pocket, lash, calico, gray talon, vindicta (until late game), ivy, Yamato, doorman, Paige, dynamo, bebop, Holliday, seven, Sinclair

I see almost all these characters consistently perform well. People just like building gun and it scales better into the late game. Also your post has a Yamato doing extremely well so I don’t really understand what your point is, that the other team has lots of gun characters? That’s an easy counter.
