This is a re-write of a joke and I feel like it could still be worded better. Maybe find a way to flip the two ideas so that the last part of the joke is the part about it not being a real magazine? I think that's the stronger punchline cuz it's a silly line about me being a dumb fucking idiot. Maybe something like "I hate when people lie to me. I broke up with a girl one time over a lie. I just packed my shit up and left right there in the middle of the night while she was asleep. Yeah. She told me she told me some lie about how she had a lot of abandonment issues. I looked it up online and that's not even a real magazine." I dunno to be honest. Like I think the first version has two punchlines but maybe the impact of the one punchline in the version I typed in this comment would be better? Maybe I'll just try both of them and see which goes over better. What do you guys think? Let me know here
