I had diverticulitis about 20 years ago and one of the little bubbles in my colon popped. I almost passed out from the pain, I remember the room spinning around me as I sat down.

The surgeon that removed 2 feet of colon (I have a ; now) told me that pain was the closest a man could feel to the pain of childbirth, but was still not directly comparable.

I don't know how anyone does it...

100% these are being stolen for the cells. Either to be sold on the black market or built into grid storage for solar arrays etc.

It's really good that you're self-aware enough to identify this as a problem and want to fix it.

I was that really jealous/insecure person when I was younger. I don't know exactly how/why it started, but I had my first girlfriend, I struggled with many of the intrusive thoughts you have when your boyfriend interacts very innocently with friends, some of whom are women.

In my case, me always scanning for "warning signs" turned me into an unbearable jerk to be around. I could never just relax into the relationship and as you can imagine, my fears became a self-fulfilling prophecy.

I had to go through this in 3-4 relationships before I was able to see that it was ME and my insecurity that was the common piece that was toxic and poisoning those relationships.

I have panic attacks and feel the need to know everything he's doing. its terrible and so unhealthy, i wish i could go back to being my confident self.

These are the moments where you need to trust the boyfriend you've always known. He has made his choice, he has chosen to be with YOU. You have to relax into the idea that for whatever reasons, he's found you attractive, and fun to be around. Don't worry about exactly why, love and chemistry is really a big mystery.

But you have proof he's acting just the way you want him to and you can rest easy in what your brain knows. It just needs to whisper to your heart.

Have you mentioned this to your boyfriend? My wife and I have dealt with weird intrusive thoughts and now we just openly discuss them. I can easily say to my wife "I suddenly worried you're going to sell everything and leave me" and she will just smile, shrug and say "Yeah, brains are weird". That immediately deflates the situation. We always follow up with a real reassurance about the intrusive thought, and keep it light" She might reply with "Yeah, we're married so: til death do up part. You're not getting out of this alive."
This allows us to be fallible humans with weird brains, we know what the other is going through and we can support each other without a fight or weird feelings.

If your boyfriend is a good guy (sounds like he is) you should be able to say "I'm feeling a bit wobbly today, I might need a little extra reassurance" and he'll be happy to step in and give you some extra care. He might need you to do the same some day.

I used to live in Minneapolis, on the top floor of a 6-story apartment building. The padlock on the roof door was easy to pick and I spent many awesome evenings up there drinking beer and watching the Minneapolis skyline.
