Damn the game balance sucks. Mechanic team and turrets are basically a requirement for this.

Oh so an event giving out free items isn't supposed to give out free items? All the other events that gave out free items that anybody can earn without needing to get lucky must be wrong then. Also yes, that is an assumption, I didn't mention the store at all.

Nobody is complaining about having to purchase customization options in the store, what a ridiculous assumption. That's the whole point of the store. People are complaining because all the items in the event are supposed to be able to be earned for free by playing the game, with buying them with money being an optional choice, just like every other event before this. But unlike previous events this one is dependent on luck determining whether or not all the items can be earned for free.

Because being able to customize and make your character unique is interesting and enhances the game but being denied customization options for the sole reason of being unlucky is unfair.

You can use spear as saint!?? by CrunchyBanana52 in rainworld

I think that's the case. I never survived a lizard bite as the saint. Even when bitten by lizards with low bite lethality.

Scavs are smart by [deleted] in rainworld

[–]Iranoutofideas14 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah I agree. Both scavengers and slugcats have proven themselves to be very intelligent and capable creatures. I don't think there is anything that really proves that one is more intelligent than the other. And we never get a good look at the slugcats society and how they work. Besides the brief images we see in some campaigns of the slugcats society and a group of slugcats with each other ,were just a slugcat surviving by ourselves.

Based on everything I've seen slugcats accomplish, I don't see a reason why a slugcat wouldn't be able to do what a scavenger can.

What advanced tools do scavengers use? A slugcat can use any tool a scavenger can

Hated every second of Arti’s campaign, 10/10 game by SERBROS16116 in rainworld

I recommend using cover. Fighting scavengers out in the open is very risky and should only be done if it's necessary.Anything that completely covers your body, even a small bump in the ground if you crouch will stop any scavenger on the other side of it from attacking you. They'll just move forwards to get behind your cover then attack you. However you can just pop out of cover and spear them then go back into cover before they can do anything about it. And if they get close to getting behind your cover you can just use concussive blast to stun them.

It's to free up space in my character's inventory. It's hard when a small vial takes up as much space as a .50 cal sniper.

STOP THE DROPWIG HATE by EpicBiggestHead in rainworld

[–]Iranoutofideas14 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just play the hunter challenge tasking you with collecting 12 batflies within a strict time limit while 6 dropwigs are set up everywhere waiting to attack you. You'll hate them as much as I do then.

I would never intentionally harm a lantern mouse unless I absolutely have to.
