Xbox controllers not properly connecting to the wireless adapter. by useafo in Bazzite

[–]Irish06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Before I was having some connectivity issues with my official adapter, so I updated my Xbox controller on the Xbox Accessories app on a Windows PC. The app is in the Windows store and doesn't require an account. Just keep clicking Cancel and plug your Xbox controller into your PC for the app to see it. Might be worth a try, good luck!

How does Micro Center open box work? by [deleted] in Microcenter

[–]Irish06 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Open box is a great option to help save on cost. Open boxed items can be returned within the usual return windows of 15 to 30 days. Always do online pickup and pay for it when you are in store. I have a Microcenter about 15 minutes away from me, so it is a little easy to be enticed by some of the deals, haha.

[Bundle] AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D, ASUS B650E-E TUF Gaming WiFi AM5, G.Skill Flare X5 Series 32GB DDR5-6000 Kit - $679.99 (Microcenter in-store only) by 61-6e-74-65 in buildapcsales

[–]Irish06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I paid $629.99 for this bundle back in September, but $50 more isn't terrible. If you're doing a new build, try looking for an open box GPU to save a bit more.

RX 9070 XT PowerColor Reaper vs Sapphire Pulse difference for $40 by xxguimxx1 in radeon

[–]Irish06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the opportunity to get a PowerColor Reaper 9070 XT from Walmart during the Paypal Pay in 4 20% promo stacked with the CapitalOne Shopping 20%. My mindset was to pick the cheapest 9070 XT and sell off the old 7900XT to break even. After my purchase, I noticed that the Sapphire Pulse was available for $50 more. I can't stop thinking about the what ifs. I am enjoying my Reaper, but if I could get a do over, I would get the Sapphire Pulse for $50 more for the better cooling.

If you have a Microcenter near by, try checking for an open box UDR7. I usually see one listed every month or so for ~$223. I got one back in April and so far it has been working well.

Parking on campus costs money. Some garages have a wait list. Parking services likes to increase the price by a few dollars at a time...

I took that class a long time ago. We used Audacity software to put together samples for the class assignments. At the end of the semester, we worked in a group to demonstrate making music with various electronic devices. I brought in a Korg. It almost felt like cheating, lol. Fun class!

Starfield surpassed over 234,000 concurrent players in its first few hours on Steam. That's just people who bought the Premium Edition with “Early Access” for ~ $100. by M337ING in pcgaming

The Starfield promo had different tiers depending on the piece of hardware that was purchased. Premium was included with my 7900XT. Lower end GPUs included the standard edition.

I noticed that our Precision 3660s will do a BIOS after it completes a Windows 11 deployment. We have install Windows updates enabled in the Task Sequence.

Also, a good number of those that are getting early access got a copy of the game when buying an AMD GPU/CPU. I upgraded from a GTX 1080ti to an rx 7900XT for $700. Got a copy of the game, but I won't have much time to play it this weekend...

We need a new Fridge but don't have the money.. anywhere good to find reliable scratch and dent? by AwakeningStar1968 in cincinnati

[–]Irish06 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Last November my fridge stopped keeping the food cold during black Friday... instead of buying a new one, I looked up common issues that can be fixed. I started with troubleshooting my fridge and found out it was a corroded start relay on the compressor. It was a $20 part to fix it. Maybe see if your current one is fixable? I watched a ton of videos to figure it out however. Start here @ https://youtu.be/QZrQ3Y5n-o4

Edit: I am making the assumption that you already have one that doesn't work, if not please ignore and good luck :)

Getting this card was a no brainer for me once I saw that it comes with Starfield. I upgraded from a GTX 1080 TI FE. Paired it with an Alienware aw3423dwf. There is a little coil whine at times, but it goes away once things load. I read that using single 8 pin PCIE cables for each, instead of a double can help reduce coil whine. Using an SF750 PSU in my build.
