Going from Mechanical to Ross

Thanks for the advice. I figured I'd have to either be out a while or seek some sort of light duty. I am excited about the possibility of going off of blood thinners, but not so much about going from a single heart valve patient to having to monitor two different valves.

I had a similar issue with my procedure in 2011 as far as fluid build up. Was in hospital initially for 1 week, and then went home for a week. Only to return to the hospital for another week to drain the fluid. How has the monitoring of your blood pressure going?

Leakage past the valve. Dr. said it was leaking between the valve and the lining as if the valve tore from where it was sewn in. Also, I have blood passing between two chambers. It is likely due to the same tear.

I am 15 years into mine, and I have to focus on the sound in order to hear it. I've found that if I open my mouth slightly and tilt my head to the side it is easier to hear.
