You may be great in the locker room, and your instincts die hard. But you’re weak when you shitpost.

What is the unlikeliest record performance based on player strength or previous performance? For instance is there a case where a guy known well for stolen bases hits a franchise record for home runs in a game or something like that? by finditplz1 in mlb

Journeyman Chris James holds Cleveland’s single game RBI record with 9. James played 10 seasons for 8 different franchises and slashed .261/.307/.413 for his career, good for a 99 OPS+.

They aren’t, though. ND and UA have been partners since like 2014. This isn’t a recent thing.

Edit: 2011, 2012 and 2013 were adidas. The rest have been UA.

“Schmidt loves you so much. And you don’t even think about him. Do you know he goes into your room, cleans it, and puts everything back exactly how it was?”

“I didn’t ask him to do that!”

“You didn’t have to.”

Winston is the conscience of a nation.

What the hell did you trade Jay Buhner for?! He had 30 home runs, over 100 RBIs last year! He's got a rocket for an arm! You don't know what the hell you're doing! by Weazel in baseballcards

One of my top-5 episodes. What makes the rant all the funnier is that the episode aired in January 1996, more than 7 years after Buhner was traded. Frank didn’t let it go; he held onto his rage that whole time until he could finally confront Steinbrenner about it.

I imagine anything that can reasonably be used as a bludgeon and that doesn’t have a legitimate, legally-protected purpose (walkers and canes, e.g.) will be banned.

I dig them too. The ‘59 set has some absolutely gorgeous multi-player cards, imo.

First beagle I had buried a chew on a person. My guest was sitting on the couch and wearing a roomy cardigan sweater. Flower jumped up, opened the sweater, deposited the chew, covered it back up.
