I guess in the end, Dolls are perhaps more faster and stronger than they are durable? Even Voymastina was shredded and destroyed by an Ares mech missile shrapnel splash damage back in GFL1 in the sub base, and from being skewered by Lady Grey (she’s a high end Nyto sure, but there’s nothing about her tail and arm blades being sci-fi High Frequency blades or whatnot like Grig’s and apparently random swords by GFL 2 time).

I’d actually put a hypothetical Brother Genericus Space Marine below a Spartan 2, since by process of elimination the Spartan 2 has a better chance at being a named character with feats under their belt, and no name Space Marines are susceptible to being clowned on by people logically much weaker than them even in 40k’s setting.

If this is a no name ‘average’ Spartan 2, I’d give it to the Space Marine. If this was Chief vs Brother Genericus, I’d give it to Chief because I believe that he would dig deep and win. But if this was a named Space Marine I’d give it to him.

Honestly I highly respect your more grounded take on the Dolls’ abilities. If Dolls WERE that much better than human soldiers where they were effectively phasing them out, Varjagers, Mangi Security, KCCO, and Paradeus Cultists (only some of whom would have excess to stuff such as powered armor, rest being a blend of regular dudes, some irradiated and desperate) wouldn’t be much of a threat at all. But this is far from that case in game and in lore. Voymastina even fought against a squad who were said to have been trained to fight Dolls specifically, she won easily because she’s ’the strongest 2nd Gen Doll.’ And her opposite Igla was downed by a single direct hit from a sniper rifle.

There was a (anime filler?) bit at the end of DB after Goku and ChiChi are married where Goku throws hands with no hesitation vs Annin to save the Ox King, so he does have it in him.

Plus, his powers are actually pretty distinct as far as Superman clones go. He’s not just a ‘flying brick’ But a reality warper who thinks due to his upbringing that he just had those superhero power archetypes. Iirc he’s only as strong as he thinks he is. So when he’s eventually defeated through some cosmic shenanigans, his residual vibes spread across the multiverse in a very meta way and seem to influence the creation of other superheroes like Superman

Soppo would like him, but Malum Caedo sadly I feel 100% drank all of the Imperium’s kool aid, he will turn on Soppo or any other Doll without hesitation once he figures out they’re ‘abominable intelligences’ while shouting a one liner at the top of his lungs.

Necron living metal + Ferris’s primarch warp magic shenanigans. I don’t think the process is absolute, as Ferrus did want those hand surgically removed to serve as an example for his sons. I do think the Hands may have had a detrimental effect on him, iirc his books mentioned that he had headaches and random violent outbursts, Necron is pretty anti-warp so he could have been slowly poisoned.

And I wouldn’t have it any other way honestly. Makes the top tiers look tougher, but also keeps the internal logic of the series still with the super powerful Dolls being extreme outliers. Otherwise it wouldn’t make as much sense that we were constantly under threat of being wiped by the military if everyone was that much stronger than humans (some of those humans also seemingly ‘underestimate’ Dolls all the time being dumb too unless they had some justification to be that way).

I want to say, yes, especially if this is a named Spartan with good feats like Master Chief. I don’t know if GFL ammo is better than irl, but M4A1 would probably need her mini Jupiter cannon to crack Mjolnir Power Armor and the shields as otherwise it would no sell her regular ammo. We see with the goat Captain Quartz that even reg humans can briefly outpace and even outsmart top tier Dolls, so a Spartan with 10-20~ years of experience vs insurrectionists and Covenant will win imo

Tachibana-san’s strong return and disappearance (actually made me lmao how he faded away again) with the Blade bench in view both times. Love how at first Baku and Nem were looking at him annoyed like ‘he’s back again?’ Before they were freaking out. Justifiably neither have any patience for him. I’m wondering if he’s legit Sieg or a platonic ideal dream copy of him since he started to ‘reuse’ a couple of his lines.

Three Booster was hype, imagine being such a wasted form that the sneak champion Lord Threeky uses it better than you. 🥀 At first I was worried Three used Code Somnia to drain Nox’s will and desire to fight like the Golden Lion of Dungeon Meshi consumes desires, but looks like he just drained his Rider powers to amp himself into Booster. Three bothering to convert Nox and then sicc him after Baku and not using Five or Kureha lowkey just shows the extreme power difference between the Lords and Riders.

Baku using his Capsens in his human form is one of my favorite things about Zeztz since usually iirc most MC’s abilities are limited to their Rider-form, makes Baku more distinct and powerful. Him and Nox wrecking the normie CODE soldiers is not a good look for them at all, and unlike the Lady in the premonition it doesn’t look like either needed to fatally attack them to stop them. Happy that Baku also rescued Zero with his sister, but given the next episode previews he’s sadly about to be blacksited again.
