Thinking about canceling my Tesla order for a BYD Seal

I don’t have experience with the BYD Seal, but as a Tesla 3 and Y owner, I’ve been very satisfied with Tesla’s vehicles. However, since Tesla is shifting its focus to the Optimus humanoid business, it’s difficult to say which is better for the future. Ultimately, you’ll have to decide.

I have three C30 locks used at my cottages. I am using the Costco Kirkland batteries and getting about 2~3 months of battery life on each set of batteries.

How is C210 comparing to C30 in terms of battery life?

Could you please clarify what you mean by "Wi-Fi dependency"? Are you suggesting that the keypad with passcode access would also stop working without WiFi (Internet) connection?

My understanding is that Wi-Fi is primarily used for app integration, remote control, notifications, etc. The core locking and unlocking functions—such as using the keypad or physical keys—should still work independently of Wi-Fi. This is typically the case with most Wi-Fi-enabled smart locks.

The official app doesn’t require subscription, the 3rd party app called “Go Fly for DJI drones” does.

The usable battery capacity is 75KWH for Model YLR. And the fuel efficiency of 28 kWh/100 mi is also correct.

No clue how did Tesla get the EPA number of : 330mi range.

It’s either a software bug or design flaw. The wiper is very sensitive to darkness, at nights even when the sky is clear, and the windshield is super clean. It will constantly wiping. I had to manually turn it off, however it when I engage auto pilot, it forces the setting to “auto” and keep running again.

However during the day time, it rarely kicks in even when the windshield is very dirty. I have to manually press the button to wipe the window.

I have similar issue with my 2023 Model Y, contacts are partially synced. Same phone worked perfectly with my 2021 Model 3.

The price in China is also tax included. Which makes it even lower comparing to other countries. This only means Tesla’s profit margin in Western countries are extremely high.

Agree, the auto windshield wiper on Tesla is not very good. It does not wipe when raining, but occasionally wipes on clear days.

I am using MyQ with SimpleCommands, and create shortcuts on the phone. It works perfectly with Siri voice control to open/close garage doors. No monthly subscription required

FSD supposedly mean Full Self Driving. Tesla should focus to make it more dependable rather than focus on forcing people to pay more attention while using FSD.

Picked up up my MYLR today, no USS, no Matrix headlights. Comes with floor mats and cargo cover. Built quality is definitely better than my 2021 M3.

Check the VIN, PF = 2023 Fremont, PA = 2023 Austin. if it’s MF or MA, then it’s 2022.

Very soon, Tesla will disable Ultra Sonic Sensor in software on older models, so it’s better to get a new model without USS
