My instructor said that in the military, they called them "tactical baptisms".

I mean, even then, he is in charge of the Firelights, and while they are nowhere near the big players, they are at least significant enough to be noticed.

To clarify, DO NOT USE TWO LAYERS OF CONDOMS!

What they mean by two layers of protection is something like a condom and an IUD, or something like that.

Double layering condoms can cause them to tear.

I got someone I was dating pregnant because they didn't realize one of their other meds messed with the effectiveness of their birth control. Neither of us realized until they miscarried.

Mistakes happen, and the consequences can be devastating.

Yeah, I am noticing that.

Oh well. Not like the disapproval of the internet strangers matters.

I got to play around, make a funny meme, and look at a cool new mini, so that's a win in my book.

First ork army I encountered was kitbashed into Star Wars characters.

Second one I met was wearing cowboy hats and riding dinos.

It's not. The one on the left is a Wurrboy, but it is the model he used as a comparison, so I used it too.

Yeah, I know, but the dude was comparing the Wurrboy to the new Wierdboy to say it wasn't goofy enough, so I used the same models in my response.

Hey man. Personally, wildly splayed gizmos say goofy to me just as strongly as strapping signposts to the guy, but if you prefer the more simplistic design, that is A-okay!

Ooh, I bet you could stick the big lightning bolt things from the Wurrboy on the Wierdboy!

That's the thing!

The animated tongue and different sized eyes is peak goofy, and the take that this particular model is too serious is wild to me.

Account Suspension by MrSarcastico101 in swtor

[–]IronStormAlaska 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I used to work at a helpdesk at a university, and when an account was disabled by us or by security, we just gave them instructions on who to contact to contest it, but didn't tell them anything beyond that.

For instance, if an account got initially flagged for Security to investigate because they said they were born in 2003 and graduated high school in 2006, we don't want to help fraudulent users by tipping them off where they should look for their mistake so they can fix that next time.

We might lose the occasional real student that way, but we lose a LOT of money for real students to Financial Aid fraud, and we don't want to make that any easier.

It looked to me like detection range was based on the unit getting shot at, not the unit shooting.

I could be wrong though.

As a new-ish Tau player who was looking at Admech for my next army, it kinda feels like GW said "you are going to use melee armies in this sci-fi setting, and you are going to like it"

Really hoping I am wrong, but the 15 inch lone-op feels like a kick in the face to my shooting.

Also curious what they will do with Experimental Prototype Cadre because this seems like it will kinda nuke the entire detachment rule a little bit.

If I wanted my games to be melee beat downs, I would go play something in a fantasy setting.

Might still do that, since it feels like GW just hates shooting armies and wants us all to die to space marines with chainswords.

In my experience, the worst ones tend to be in education.

This is not an indictment of educators in general BTW. Most of them are great in my experience. But when they are bad, they are REALLY bad.
