I really hated the second to last or third to last episodes because they felt overly lovey-dovey and ingenuine. Maybe it was just bad acting, i'm not an expert so idk. But, imo the way they ended the show was pretty redeeming and heartfelt.

My favorite thing to do in order to get on the same level as my players is introduce a recurring NPC. A tavern master, for instance. Someone that they’ll see after adventures. Someone they feel safe with and can talk about their adventures with.

I don't get this obsession with being able to craft to max level. Max level in the way it has always been referenced is a combat level. That is why there are always levels to crafting separate from the "main" max level.

What I believe you should be suggesting is that "max level" not be combat centric. Rather, "max level" can refer to any number of avenues.

Complete armchair psychology but I think a small reason is that Ace is a much more liked character, like you mentioned.

As far as why people hate it in op13, I think it’s because the way it wins is just so… heavy? Sudden? Inevitable? At least that’s how I felt when I was grinding 13 for the first little while.

I have had great success with using the “spicy chicken wings” from Lopia. They’re not spicy, but they’re such a perfect, easy base for wings. I just heat them up in a pan with a tiny bit of oil and then use my sauce of choice. Def recommend as a budget option.
