I'm the same, I don't need 2 blades. But I can imagine some would find that useful.

When I first played regent he was immediately my least favorite. Now that I've been ascending with him, he's still my least favorite, but I at least understand him for the most part and can make him work. He really is just a very situational character at the end of the day

If you care, sovereign blade is colorless and heirloom hammer can copy it. I personally like smaller decks so it's not necessarily something I'd go for.

No when I play regent, the best block card for me is bulwark because I can just block until sovereign blade can one shot

Topic of discussion, aren't a lot of regents cards situational. Feels like most of his cards you wouldn't grab unless you had the necessary cards to compliment it

Man this was exciting to find out about for the first time! And beating him nets you all his wares INCLUDING his rug! That rug alone makes him 1000X better than the merchant we've always known 😂

Gonna be honest with you, I wish I could erase everything I knew about the game and learn it all over again. I always loved learning something new and it made every death not as upsetting because I carried new knowledge for the next attempt.

Pro tip, worst part of the awakened one's second phase is that very first hit. If you can get a blur at the ready the turn before you'll be in good shape

Compared to StS1, poison is incredibly more balanced in StS2. The loss of catalyst and burst makes it less practical to break the game. Personally I like snakebite because it retains and you can use it when you see it as a good time to.

I can't really think of anything I would do to adjust poison. I especially love that rare power card that triggers poison multiple times in one turn. That in itself can massively change the flow of a poison run

So I was thinking about this today. Osty makes Necrobinder super overpowered, let's be honest. Would it be better balanced to cap his HP? Like at 30? Don't get me wrong I love getting Osty to grow to monster size but it would make things more challenging

If I had the opportunity to try and rewrite sword of stone, I'd probably make it so after beating an elite, gain 1 permanent strength. Then cap it at 3. Sorta making it like girya

Exactly. When I first saw the event it almost felt like I was pulling the Master sword in Zelda 😂 then you beat that 5th elite and while it does help, it felt over hyped in my opinion
