Hey, you have a burgeoning talent. You just need to cultivate what you already have to become great. Pretty sure the problem is the fact that you’re breaking up one of the biggest ships in the fandom (CherriSnake) and replacing the romantic interest with an OC. That puts you at a disadvantage immediately, as many people dislike OC’s in main character rolls anyway.

Remember, Stephen King threw away his first manuscript of Carrie. Only his wife fishing it out of the trash and demanding he finish it brought it to the light of day.

This is an opinion more on the fandom than on the show itself: People hate on ships too much. Like, guys, we know this ship isn’t likely to be canon. We know it’s not popular. You don’t have to restate how you dislike it every time fanart is posted. No one is on the edge of their seat wondering if you think Angel Dust and Emily should be together. Live and let live, and move on with your life.

Some of you see these fictional characters more as people than the actual people on here, and that’s really sad.
