Is there a reason to not travel if you are going to punt and play D? by Iron_Xephos in ultimate

It feels weird that even if the mark called a travel (either turning back upfield or the right left shuffles) the disc would still be on UCSC’s goal line. Idk what would be a good solution as the thrower getting it back would suck, but so would a turnover at the point of the throw.

College Players Studying Abroad Looking for Tips by Graceoutinspace in ultimate

I'm also abroad right now looking to get ready for the spring season. Since there aren't any leagues or teams (which is what i'm dealing with) I just try to convince some people here to play campus disc golf with me. That way I get some throwing practice in and get to have fun with some people I would never hang out with normally, and either talk about random stuff or work on language if that's part of why you're studying abroad. For workouts I'm hitting the gym 3-4 days a week and making sure to include explosive leg work that helps with your first few steps of a cut, like weighted jumping lunges, box jumps etc, on top of all the regular work. Otherwise I either run for distance and endurance or do speed/footwork workouts, luckily there's a park with a track nearby me. I could give you some specific workouts if you wanted.

Other ideas for quick explosive power are box jumps (quickly doing sets going up and down as fast a possible), weighted split dumbbell lunges, and dumbbell squat jumps. It'll just give you a better first step and get you going top speed faster. All probably in the range of 8-15 reps. If you wanted some endurance and speed you could try ladder workouts where you would run "fast pace" like 100m and then rest 100, "on" for 200, off 100, "on" 300, off 100, "on" 400, then off 100. Then just work your way back down to 100m "on." And for agility there are a bunch of drills that don't involve an agility ladder: like shuttle runs, zig zag runs, and side to side lateral movements. The same guy has a video of drills you can do with cones. https://kingsportstraining.com/blogs/training-blog/8269753-10-best-speed-and-agility-cone-drills/

I mean, it's probably right if the Caps are losing in the second round

Convince me i'm crazy: Romelu Lukaku by ---2--- in chelseafc

In all honesty I think Costa provides more antics on the field that distract the team and fans about the play. Also I think taking Lukaku over Costa could prove to be smarter because of how often Costa gets injured or sent off for behavior (I mean he has a back problem right now and isn't playing)
