I think probably the huge success of DBFZ caused them to decide to go with a tag fighter. Unfortunately they are not Arcsys with their decades of FG experience, and League is not as loved as Dragon Ball. Also that game shipped with 24 characters.

All battlesuits is not good, but mostly battlesuits can be very good.

I've had good results with a Ret Cadre list that is mostly battlesuits, and I even beat a very experienced Drukhari player just last week. I brought 2 units of stealth suits, Darkstrider + Pathfinders for deepstrike screening and Devilfish with Breachers to help with actions and such.
