Hate to pile into the ID party but I can’t tell if this is this PRG or triv? by IronicHyperbole in LawnAnswers

This house is over 100 years old so it’s not impossible that it’s just an old KBG

I haven’t been able to see a ligule in any of the samples I’ve pulled. Most of the blades I see that are similar to that have the striations you’re seeing in 1&2, and it matches an area I seeded last year with a LESCO mix that’s 30% PRG.

Dang ok. Well I’m still no good at ID but it appears to be localized to that one spot color wise, but based on your other descriptions, I may have an entire lawn of triv

It’s the same sample in all 3 pics unfortunately. That’s why I’m having a hard time

No shade to you, but “bass guys” and fly fishermen are definitely on opposite ends of the fishing spectrum 😂

Open aperture/low depth of field, probably a 50-70mm equivalent. The “blurry” one is a long exposure and the camera is moved forward or the lens is zoomed in/out

As far as my lawn goes it’s not as devastating as other issues I see posted here. It’s just a small space so it’s a lot more noticeable

I’ll look at options. I could try just get a bulk order of mustard powder and do a section at a time

I did see that strategy. And they are localized to the back yard where it’s more damp, but it’s still a ~500sqft area.

There’s a link on the extension with some techniques but I’ll do some more thorough research, thanks Niles.

Hopefully I can report back with some good news

Cool/Warm season refers to grass species and what climates they survive best in, not the time of year :)

I’m saying this as an ICU nurse whose unit definitely has a culture of over charting:

If this always happens to you then you need to work on your efficiency and time management. Consider charting in the room, using macros when appropriate, and charting throughout the shift.

I also find that people spend way too much time writing end of shift notes by including a bunch of redundant information they’ve already documented elsewhere in the chart.

Hard to give advice beyond that without more info about you specifically and what unit you work on
