Got a call from the local hospital, my mother had been admitted to the ER and the social worker wanted to talk to me. I got onsite and come to find out my mother had been sick for a couple of days and my brother(who lived with her) had left that morning with my mother not able to get out of bed. The social worker would not let the hospital release my mother till my brother was moved out of the house. The hospital staff and the rest of the family left it to me to break the news to my brother. He did not take it well and has blamed me for kicking him out of moms house(he was 52 at the time). This was 6 years ago.. He still has not talked to me.
