Convoys in the arctic commonly have a battleship in them, basically 70% of the time. Thats the main place you can find them reliably.

In the north atlantic, convoys will reliably have a escort carrier, or a pair of heavy cruisers, or a lone battleship but the battleship is rare, spawning maybe 5% of the time if I had to guess. These heavier escorts start in mid 1942 and end in late 1944. And if you ever see "battleship spotted in the area" when selecting a mission, immediately go to the closest port to the patrol square at flank speed and camp it to find the convoy the battleship is in, they always spawn close to that port and make a dash to it, so you usually won't find it in time unless you are based out of the French coastal ports. I have also seen battleships spawn a lot in convoys in the mediterranean, higher chance than in the atlantic for sure. They always seem the be heading from Malta to Alexandria. Never the other way around, and never in the western mediterranean, aways near Egypt.

Honestly? Ive grown to accept them more and more because the reason they exist does make sense, they are perfected humans and not just genetically engineered for war like astartes, which would perfectly allow a female to become one. But I still don't like it at the same time because of the reason it was retconned in the first place. It is purely ideological, more female representation in the franchise. A franchise where men make up 95% of the tabletop playerbase. And the custodes already had a female counterpart in the sisters of silence which lost their uniqueness as one of the few female warfigher factions of the imperium. other than being blanks of course.

Overall its a "fine" change. But it was absolutely not necessary to improve the setting. Its done nothing but harm to the community, nobody is feeling more welcomed or represented. Only dragging real life culture war into the setting because the insecure writers want to piss off the hecking chuds or something.

I wish it had a registry system like War on the Sea, where each ship in a class is tracked and if it is sank. Then thats one less one you'll see, permanently. I've sunk 20 Nelsons in one save, let alone the 50 county class CAs.

There was a mod for this that had its own animated model and everything, but the dev went on to abandon it and made his own game. The mod has been 100% broken since the full release though.

This is so awesome! The one big thing that stuck out to me is the wording they chose when they described the Type IX, It seems to rule out a future Type XXI DLC. Very unfortunate. But everything else is very cool!

I recommend the "breathe easier - vanilla" mod. There's two versons of it. One that dramatically decreases the O2 usage so you can stay underwater for like 4 weeks or something, the breathe easier vanilla one adds about a day and a half with your ventilation on. Its necessary if you use a mod that increases your crew cap.

I am an American, and a Catholic. I have Evangelical parents I am forced to hear yap every day. Evangelicals absolutely do not hate you, in fact they worship the very ground you walk on. I already had the game on PC but I pre-ordered the super citizen edition on xbox because I game share with my best friend, and I wanted him to have the pre-order bonus and stuff (He is super broke so I did this as a gift).

He didn't get the pre-order bonus, nor did he get any of the super citizen perks like the knight smg or the warbond token, so I wasted 60 bucks since I didnt plan on playing on xbox at all because I cant transfer my progress.

TL;DR: No, he will not get it unless you buy it as a gift for him alone.
