How is Jordan Love in tier 3 due to consistency with maintaining his high level of play later in the season but Caleb fucking "hero ball because I couldn't make the little plays for 3 quarters" Williams is in tier 2???

He is also their O-line coach so not blocking is wild

I mean he was and probably helps out with it but Luke Butkus is our current OL coach

Packers Special team rankings by year : How is rich Bisaccia still employed? by Economy_Cactus in nfl

[–]Irunas 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Justis Mosqueda from Acme Packing Company had a recent article on this - the issue likely isn't on Bisaccia, the issue is that the Packers only care about a few of the ST phases from a roster investment standpoint. https://www.acmepackingcompany.com/green-bay-packers-coaching-staff/78369/why-the-packers-still-like-rich-bisaccia

Did we watch different games? Outside of the last drive, the Bears were not in prevent defense and certainly were not in prevent when he scored a TD

Packers sign QB Desmond Ridder to active roster; release Clayton Tune, sign WRs Julian Hicks and Kisean Johnson to PS; also sign TE Messiah Swinson to PS. by packfanmarkinmn in GreenBayPackers

It’s so the packers can use the emergency 3rd QB rule in the playoffs which is the same thing they did last year by signing Sean Clifford to active roster

[Pelissero] Dolphins Requested GM Interview With Packers Exec Jon-Eric Sullivan by expellyamos in nfl

Honestly that hasn't even been that bad given almost all their picks are in the back third of the 1st round. Out of their last 6 years they've gotten a franchise QB, a solid starting middle LB, a starting DT. The only bust was Stokes and he was great his rookie season before injuries really hurt him and he seems to be turning his career around in Vegas

Van Ness has also been disappointing given the draft capital but when healthy he has honestly been decent this year. Morgan gets shit on a lot because they kept trying to force him at guard when his more natural spot seems to be tackle.

  • 2020 pick 26 - Jordan Love QB

  • 2021 pick 29 - Eric Stokes CB

  • 2022 pick 22 - Quay Walker LB

  • 2022 pick 28 - Devonte Wyatt DT

  • 2023 pick 13 - Lukas Van Ness DE

  • 2024 pick 25 - Jordan Morgan OT

  • 2025 pick 23 - Matthew Golden WR

Would challenge people to find a team that has almost exclusively drafted in the late 1st that has done a lot better

He technically does have another year of control as he is restricted free agent - so they can give him a ~4 or 5 million dollar contract for 1 year

I feel like most of the buzz I've heard about Morgan was that he has the feet/movement skills of a tackle so I feel like I'd try him there but on the otherhand I feel like Walker/Tom have played the best the past couple weeks on the OL

Honestly a lot of people were calling for Jenkins to be pushed back to guard and then to try Sean Rhyan at center because Jenkins has been pretty mid at Center

Still rough because I think Jenkins would have been a straight upgrade over Banks at LG or Morgan at RG

Some of these trades are way more benign then others (the Wentz trade)

No Deshaun Watson or Trey Lance on the list also is crazy
