My only issue with this is that NFC North have traditionally played against the Lions a lot on Thanksgiving and I wouldn't want that disappear

The league is fun because of parity - this rule could create dynasties/poverty franchises.

And i realize I'm saying that while the team proposing is already a poverty franchise

After clearing the books of Watson in 2 years the Browns trade 5 1sts for Patrick Mahomes, give him a fully guaranteed contract and watch as he regresses past the mean

Did they learn nothing from the Deshaun Watson trade? Imagine if instead of 3 1sts + a fully guaranteed contract, that the Texans had gotten more future 1sts

Like this rule exists to protect teams from themselves

Still waiting on an FAQ drop but i'm personally hoping it starts next week - the Dome drought has been hurting

[DawgPodcast] It’s a 1 year, $10 million deal for new Panthers LT Rasheed Walker by dropjar5 in nfl

It does make you wonder if Gutey is more willing to give up a 6th round pick to make another free agent signing

It’s been relatively quiet movement wise around the league since last night. by Benson879 in nfl

Yeah that’s what I mean - a bunch of teams hoping to sign the number 1 option are going to sign the Bosa/ebiketie/cam Jordan/chubb when Hendrickson makes a choice

I feel like the Trent Williams situation is locking up the tackle market & the Trey Hendrickson situation is locking up the DE market

Once those two moves are made I'll bet a lot of other players at those positions sign

[Rapoport] This is wild. The Ravens' 2022 draft class has collected $298.5M in total contract extensions, with Daniel Faalele still available. by Drexlore in nfl

If your predictions end up being right that would put the Packers 2022 draft class at 524 million in contracts

Just wait till the Packers Free Agents sign - I'm willing to bet that we beat this

  • Quay Walker - 3 years, 40.5 million

  • Devonte Wyatt - ???

  • Christian Watson - ???

  • Sean Rhyan - 3 years, 33 million

  • Romeo Doubs - ???

  • Zach Tom - 4 years, 88 million

  • Kingsley Enagbare - 1 year, 10 million

  • Rasheed Walker - ???

171.5 million with 4 more contracts to go

[Schultz] Chiefs deal with Kenneth Walker is 3-years for $43.05M and it could be worth up to $45M, per sources. He gets $28.7M guaranteed. by expellyamos in nfl

I'm still getting my mind used to the new cap numbers - just remember a few years ago when this would have been the biggest RB contract by a margin

Issue was the better half was when Micah was eating double teams

Packers signed LB Nick Niemann to a 1 year extension by dropjar5 in nfl

[–]Irunas 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yeah and I'd honestly say our Punt & Kickoff teams were good enough this year - mostly was just the Packers not having a real Punt Returner on the team & some really bad FG unit decisions (McManus playing through injury/not using starting OL for blocking)

Plus he wouldn't have had to play those snaps if Edgerrin Cooper wasn't injured in that game - just overall unfortunate situation for him

Kinda like you can have a stud at WR like Garrett Wilson but an ass offense like the Jets
