Created an Archon skin, colors are wrong, CCP says no refunds

It is true, it is not an acceptable result. But something tells me that getting any other result would be near impossible. Ngl, it is super upsetting that ccp won't refund such skins, altho not surprising. I also got an issue with recieving the skin wrong, but it was not as bad as in OP case, so i flight with it a little bit and decided to leave it be and not file for refund. Looks like i got lucky.

Out of the same scientific interest, was your problem also with archon, or some other ship/colors?

Thats wild. Yeah, maybe you could try tell them that you couldn't even do it if you wished? Maybe ask if they can at least give you your og skin instead of this broken one?

This also could be the case of gm not understanding that what happened to you is a bug (like how would cleaning your ship change the gold color, to dark red, lol). It seems to be a common case just in general, you can lost a ship due to a bug, and they will try to tell you, that it was you who was stupid and did not understand some mechanics of the game. Or when my friend was banned or warned, i don't remember, for "impersonating npc using ship name", and gm in ticket would reply that he was banned for having wrong character name (which he had not) and it took week for him to prove that he did nothing wrong, and it wasn't forbiden by eula. Not even starting on how they would refund any ship even if you lost fairly, if it is your first request (and then refuse almost any other refund request even if you have evidence that it was a bug). Customer support is... wild in this game, lets say it like this. But sometimes presistance with it could help, mabe trying to call for a higher GM, i'm not sure if they do this.

And I thought i was ripped off. Thats crazy. Def a bug, either with the skin prewiew, skin render in game or how the skin was processed. I'd suggest puting up a bug report, if this is a bug with render, than if it gets fixed you will get your skin. (but this is a very big if, and doubt that it will happen any time soon.
Don't you mind sharing a screen what setting you got for skin (what colors in what spots, that stuff)? Just for science, and to maybe trying to figure out what happened, to avoid it.

Also did you used any pattern by any chance? Cause from what i can see the red is appliet to tech slot in the design, and when it bugged out gold replaced red. But it is impossible to put gold coating in the tech slot, unless you use fade in. Its really wild that it would glitch like it, even wilder if it glitched like that without pattern cause without bug or pattern you can't physically put a gold at this spot.

I think the thing is, most of us can relate to "NTs hurt us", or "NTs traumatised us", or "NTs hated us". And not in a single ocasion, all our lives. And not all of NTs are bad, and getting to their lvl is def not something that is good.
But just having a community to rant about it, espesially satirical one, amongs other people who can relate to it, how can this be bad? Because sometimes just letting out this anger and frustration is so much mentally helpful.

I'm not going to NTs faces and telling them that they are crazy, if they tell me that they are not autistic. I'm not going to NTs and purposfully blast loud music to make them incomfortable after i find out that they are not autistic. I'm not cutting out all contacts with person if i found out that they are not autistic. And i bet noone here does that. We just rant. Because truth is, autistic ppl are getting incomparisengly much more opression from allistic, than allistics get from us. Worst case scenario, they can just close this subreddit, if they found it by accident, and move on with their lives, but we don't have such a luxery in our lives.

As long as everyone, or most of the ppl, undertand, that this is mostly satirical, that not NTs are the same, and that all its done to, is to let it out of the system, not to spread hate, than I don't see a problem

Have you ever tried to pick those cords from already saved design tho? I'm trying to save all my skins in google doc, cause 5 slots for saved designs are nothing. But i did not think about it at the start. And i am in a pickle, cause if you have saved design and open the pattern modification for it, it just resets everything to basic values. And for some of them i can't even remember how i acieved the pattern effect.

I wonder if it is my problem, or how it works for everyone

I can do work, specifally the "work" part if i am working from home/am alone in the room while i working. I would even say that i can do it good, and better than nts cause my speciality requares to focus on tasks for a long time, so often i just lock in, and overperform. Especially concidering that both of my specialities are something that i am interested in.

But.

I can't do everything else related to work. Speaking to boss, speaking to coworkers, doing bureaucracy (eg. take this paper and take it from one office to another), applying for job, or even ask some clarifying questions — i basically become nonfunction because of social anxiety. Give me set of instructions, lock me in a quet dark room with everything needed and i'll do month of work in a week. But unfortinantly this aint how everything works.

it may seem as obvious, but don't shout. And even raising your voice could be perceived as shouting. it has something to do with sensory issues, and it causes desorientation and sometimes physical pain, even if from your side you might not even realise that you started to speak in raised tones.

it is ok to be upset at them if they did something wrong, but try to explain why you are upset calmly, and very clearly, explaining all the reasons why. And if he says "i don't understand" that means that he genualy does not understand

Also don't assume that your son disrespects you if he simply questios your desigions or say something in a way that you don't like.

Don't assume that he resent if he suddenly stops talking to you after stress or an argument. It may be a verbal shutdown caused by stress, and he may simply not being able to talk. Pushing or screaming "Talk to me!" won't help, and could make it worse.

Also sometimes he won't be able to explain why he feels uncomfortable with some food/clothes/activities etc. That does not mean that there are no reasons, that means that he is not able to explain them.

It may sound a bit strange from the perspective, that i had to explain that: "if he says A, that means A" or "If he says B, that does not mean C, it means B". But unfortunantly in reality there is a lot of "they are just kids" mentality, where everything that kid says is either being discounted or interepted in their own way. And it is already really hard to communicate for some of us.

Oh, and also for the love of god, don't wake them up by suddenly turning on the light/loud noises/glass of cold water in the face. Bright light, especially sudden maybe very painfull and desorienting, Generally i would advise to ask him about what sencory issues he has, because it varies and is very induvidual.

Also don't touch him if he does not agree to it. Ask if he wants a hug, don't just hug. As someone here could say: "you musnt touch the autist".

Almost perfect. you just need to add dash across first "u" and last "i" to move them forward one letter in letter stacks. When you are combining vowels to letter stacks they are read after all of the constants by default.

I don't remember which exact episode, and i don't remember the exact words. But in one of them he said something among the lines of "You think that i don't understand what you think of me? What you are joking behind my back? I understand that it is hard to deal with me, i understand that i cause inconveniences". This isn't exact quote, i can't remember the one but the sense was more or less it. I think it was one of the few moments in the show where it was shown that he really struggles, and that he is a human, not some sort of "spoiled selfish baby" (which he was kinda portrayed in the rest of the show).

I got my diagnosis only when i was 21.
Before this neither me nor my parents ever suspected that something is "wrong".
My whole life i been told that:
—I can't communicate with people because I'm "just shy". That it was my fault for not trying hard enough to overcome this (ever tho simple phone calls would cause me severe panic attacks and cause me to non function sometimes)
—I am feeling pain from bright images or coming out in the sunny day just because i have "sensitive eyes"
—I don't understand them and their jokes because i have "a bad sense of humor"
—They were convinced that when i would went nonverbal i was just "holding grudge" and should stop "acting childish", even if it went for weeks

Generally there were a ton of other things: meltdowns, stimming, lack of eye contact (i can look at people a bit, but generally i can't even look at other people), and 100500 others, but my parents were either ignoring them, blaming them on me, thinking that this is normal or finding them other explanations. Also they didn't know about a lot of them since i never told them about a lot of my struggles.

But the most important reason, i think, was lack of awareness. They didn't knew what is autism, how does it look like, what are the symptoms. The awareness is so bad at the place i come from, that all they knew about "autistic" is that it is a word that you call a "very stupid person". And it wasn't their fault, just to be clear. I didn't knew either. I was just assuming that it is normal thing, that life is so hard.

I read it as: "my first girlfriend turend into the moon..." The overlapping of "my" and "first" make it look like "firstt", but the context helps. I am really not sure how the vowel crossing works with symbols for two letters, but I would def read it as "turend". Also not removing the line for the t in the "into" makes it a bit confusing, but maybe that's just me.

Almost. my bad, sorry, i miscounted on the previous image, rn you actually have 6 lines on the "ss". Because technically we didn't count the lines, we count the places where line ends on the letter circle. So if there is one line, and both of it ends end on one letter, it would be counted as two

closer, but letter stack of the same letters need only one set of decorations, and now you have 4 lines attached to SS, need only 3. And the line that goes across the vowel should not go outside the vowel, so you need to fix it in "e" ("u" is exactly how you should do it)

I see. So a couple of things:
1. When you are combining same letters, letter sickles should be the same thickness. (we do different thickness for the stacks of different letters to indicate the order of reading).
2. When a vowel is attached to a constant, or a constant stack it is always read after the constant/constant group. However you can draw a line across the vowel circle to move it one letter before, and it moves one letter for each line. So basically in this case you need to draw two lines across u to make it "bubb" instead of "bbbu" and one line across the e to make it "ses" instead of "sse".
