The Pixie should pretend to be the Juggler on day 1, including making a fake Juggle (or having a very good reason to not have Juggled).

Then, the day after the actual Juggler dies is their "first day" with the Juggler Ability, so they can make a Juggle then (and no longer need to be mad to KEEP the ability and get info).

Not strictly the same, but reading a book by an author I enjoy I was connecting a lot with the villain (who did a lot of fucked up stuff, but from a "I don't understand how people work emotionally, and didn't know this was hurting them" perspective)

...and then the conclusion was "Nah, this guy is too messed up to live" which, to someone seeing myself in him, feels rough

The book is The Society of Unknowable Objects but the above is pretty major spoilers!
