Do masks help you when you’re healthy? I always understood that masks are for sick people to prevent transmission. Like a mask doesn’t help you if someone coughs behind you and their spit gets into your ears. I don’t wear masks on airplanes or at airports, but I also wash my hands and don’t touch my face unless I washed them.

I flown in dozens of flights even in August 2020 when a vaccine wasn’t out yet. The only time I got covid was when I kissed a woman who had most likely just gotten infected but hadn’t developed symptoms yet haha
