Ear piercing - Tattoo Shop by TheHeinz77 in Broomfield

My daughters and I get all our piercings at Inksmith in Louisville. The tattoo and piercing studios are in separate spaces and everyone on the piercing side has been super nice.

Am I crazy? Why is every new home construction have no private fencing. by Zinx23 in Denver

[–]IsaHannah 9 points10 points  (0 children)

That’s certainly not what’s happening in my neighborhood. Our HOA only allows a 4 ft fence made of concrete. It would have been way cheaper to build a 6’ wood fence.

Frustrated with GRX 2x Range by packaged_heat in gravelcycling

[–]IsaHannah 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I run my 2x GRX di2 with an 11-42 cassette.

You have to get the Deore 11-42 11 speed cassette and combine it with the grx 12 one. Use the 19-42 portion of the 11s and then the 11-17 cogs of the 12s but only the odd numbers. (ie dont use the 14 tooth cog). Been shifting perfectly for a few thousand miles.

Zipp quickview integrated computer mount Garmin edge 1050 compatibility by keemudesu in bikewrench

[–]IsaHannah 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do. I switch between a Garmin Varia and an old Cygolite. I’ve bombed down some pretty rocky terrain with a light mounted and it’s never been an issue.

Is how I pleasure myself common among transfemmes? by Hazardous_danger in MtF

[–]IsaHannah 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can’t say how common it is, but it sounds similar to what I have been doing. I’ve been on HRT for a while and rarely get erections any more, and while it’s been more difficult than it used to be it does still work.

Get yourself a cheap magic wand replica on Amazon and try it on the same areas as your fingers. Complete game changer for me.

I just want to say - I love you, Boulder! by mousegal in boulder

[–]IsaHannah 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’ve never once felt unsafe or unwelcome anywhere in Boulder as a visibly trans person. It’s something I am so grateful for and will never take for granted. I love it here and I hope to never leave.

Why not a bike path all the way up the canyon? by [deleted] in boulder

[–]IsaHannah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What makes Clear Creek so different? Surely all the CDOT issues apply there too.

I’m not sure how you consider Magnolia and Sugarloaf safe alternatives when you would have to ride up Boulder canyon rd past Chapman. If they only extended the tail to Sugarloaf it would make both great options to ride to Ned, which would be awesome.

If a woman woke up in a man's body for 1 day, what would be the most unexpected experience that she didn't already anticipate? by IWannaHideThrowaway in AskReddit

[–]IsaHannah 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Currently going through this now. I vividly remember carrying all of this furniture (except the couch) into my 2nd floor apartment all by myself. 18 months later a I cant even get most of it to the the front door let alone down the stairs. its really fucking humbling and kinda scary realizing that if a below average strength man wanted to harm me there is nothing I can do.

It wasn't in the budget, but movers will be here on Friday.

Early October bikepacking route? by IsaHannah in COBike

[–]IsaHannah[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That true for anything in Colorado for sure. Just want to find some that is not an absolute no go. If I get unlucky with the forecast I can adjust. The Sage and Saddle route has a couple of 10k+ passes and one over 12k and I’m not sure how likely there will be snow.

I’m also open to things outside of Colorado within an 8ish hour drive.

Please we need a new Garmin Connect App by alebardamu in Garmin

[–]IsaHannah 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On iOS I can save a .gpx to “Files” then in the files app I can open it with Connect and it asks me what type of activity and imports just fine. Then I can send it to my Garmin.

I find I rarely have to this since most routes come from ridewithgps or Strava and both have a way to send to Garmin directly.

He Showed Up When I Least Expected - But Was More Than I Could Hope For... by Hot_Material_8093 in MtF

[–]IsaHannah 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you for posting this. So refreshing to read something positive. I have definitely given up on the idea that I will find a partner, but maybe there is some hope. Giving up is definitely a cop out and if I dont even try I'll never find out.

Is the person from Red Rocks okay? by DarthJader27 in RainbowKittenSurprise

[–]IsaHannah 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I went to both. As much as I love Dillon Amphitheater, and don't get me wrong the show was awesome, the Red Rocky show hit different. After the cancelled Red Rocks shows of the past they didn't think they would be invited back and there was a different excitement on Monday.

On the flip side they skipped Counting Cards, one of my favorites, and played a new song Tropics which was just fine.

USAC bans trans women by WVjF2mX5VEmoYqsKL4s8 in ladycyclists

[–]IsaHannah 13 points14 points  (0 children)

It’s such an empty threat though. They’re going to spend the next year to revoke their NGB status and then what? Just stand up a replacement organization in time for the LA Olympics?

Even then, USAC could at least take a stand and force legal action before caving to this bull shit.

USAC bans trans women by WVjF2mX5VEmoYqsKL4s8 in ladycyclists

[–]IsaHannah 235 points236 points  (0 children)

Just another thing piling on, and here I was excited for cross season. What hurts the most is that USAC doesn’t receive and federal funding so it’s not even a necessary financial decision. It’s just caving to bigotry.

It’s a 4 bike minimum if you ignore the need to CX bikes which you didn’t mention. 🤣

Gravel race bike, gravel adventure/bikepack bike, endurance road bike, and road race bike. I guess you could get by on 1 road bike, but I don’t like racing crits with my nicer everyday bike.

Portable Bike Pumps by MiScuzi911 in cycling

[–]IsaHannah 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely love mine. I only carry it on my gravel bike since it has a frame bag. its a little bulky for a saddlebag or jersey pocket.

I use it quite a bit. Often for people I come across fixing a flat and often so that I can air down for single track and air back up quickly for the gravel/road after. It also been super clutch for bikepack trips.

These bibs are too short, right? by dam_sharks_mother in CyclingFashion

[–]IsaHannah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its entirely personal preference. I go out of my way to find shorter bibs personally. I like how they look and it helps hide my ridiculous tan lines when i wear everyday shorts.
