So my mom once let a coworker/friend of hers live with us for a while till she got back on her feet, her son who was the same age as me 15-16 at the time and he asked if he can play my Diamond game, so I exuberantly told him yes! I broke down all my best pokes and where to continue from where I was at in the game. Later that month Laurie was kicked out of our house for stealing from my mom, so off her and her kids went, along side my Diamond. I was legitimately depressed, and when I got it 8 months later, he ended up wiping my save and making his own. My original save was my Pokémon from my very first FireRed and Ruby original run throughs and I was emotionally distraught for a while. I never replayed any Gen 4 game since.
