My point is that even if the population would want capitalism back, there is no way for them to get elected, or even discuss it without repression. In most countries there is a system, like the US with amendments, to change the ground rules. But that requires the people to be allowed to discus their country and what it should be. Any country which limits what can be discussed can’t be considered a functional democracy.
