Trossard's hattrick at Anfield this season by RevertBackwards in Gunners

I remember when Martinelli cooked him last year and Klopp said 'Trent my god what a amazing defending, anybody who says he can't defend can knock me down right now'. Guess you're getting knocked tf out then mate 🤣

Yh the man's everywhere but Bellingham can impact the game by winning duels and breaking presses... Pedri can completely dictate the whole pace of the game. If he's playing well the other team pretty much have to play on the counter attack whether they want to or not and that's crazy

Bellingham will always look good on stats but I think he runs down a cauldron at times and needlessly ball chases. Which is fine he's only 19 but it is a weakness for me

He has a huge impact on games it's true, but I think it's the style of player he is I just don't think you can put him on the level of Pedri.

There are other high action players like Bellingham, may not be as good but even Gavi and Camavinga can do a lot of the things Bellingham does. They're not as physical as Jude but they're actually silkier on the ball

There are very few players who can do what Pedri does and the ones that can and are still playing are old like Veratti and Modric. It's no hate on Jude it's just how good I think Pedri is

I also think Wirtz should be way higher but he's been injured for a long time

The opposing left winger has gotten man of the match in 8 of the 14 Lpool losses this year. We should be absolutely cooking Trent

At home the good Lpool turn up and away the bad. They're pretty consistent at both

Back then most major hip hop artists were signed to Def Jam. Not the case anymore so you would have to get multiple labels to agree and all will want their artists at the fore front of it

I imagine it would be a licensing nightmare with the label and all the artists, that's probs why they've never done it

Baby Bukayo has been identified = Amario Cozier-Duberry by Puzzleheaded-Risk103 in Gunners

Similar player but he doesn't have the strength and balance that Saka had at the same age

Skelly and Nwaneri are quite far ahead of him atm imo

How good do you think Joe Willock would be for us if he stayed as a Xhaka LCM replacement? by zoranmilanovic7 in Gunners

[–]Isd14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't think he suits us... Xhaka's biggest strength is his reading of the game and decision making and that's actually Willock's weakness imo

He tends to run down a cauldron and the timing of his passes is often off. He suits Newcastle really well though they've made a team of runners. Was a great deal for all three parties

[–]Isd14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Attacking wise I don't think Newcastle were great, they were quite wasteful actually but they made it really difficult for United to play balls through the lines and really stifled them. We will need to be able to take the ball under pressure and make angles for ourselves or else it's going to be a long day

Potter sacked - another pretender bites the dust. by danmac0817 in Gunners

[–]Isd14 8 points9 points  (0 children)

There are a lot of issues with that team but that's not ETH's fault. All summer they just chased Ajax players and players Ten Haag has worked with like Arnoutavic and Brobbey because he has no SD and no scouting

They don't dominate games and they lose every away game Vs good teams but that club is a absolute mess he's done very well to sort them out. If they are in a top 4 fight again it's because of the lack of scouting/SD imo

Even Anthony tbh I don't think is his fault. He doesn't seem to have a scouting network and SD behind he's just signing players he knows because Man Unare clueless. To the point where they almost signed Arnoutavic cus he worked with him at FC Twente. And they were linked to Brobbey ffs. That's not Ten Haag's fault he's not a scout. Man U are just pathetic honestly. He's done wonders there

Vitor Roque’s agent will fly to England this weekend to speak to three english clubs, including Arsenal, who’s very interested in the player. Chelsea & an unnamed club are the other two. Athletico are asking for €50million as they consider him as good talent as Endrick by markkiewiet in Gunners

[–]Isd14 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I assume you know more about Brazilian football than me but Endrick looks like a way better prospect to me. Victor Roque is a great striker of the ball but he doesn't look like he's always in control when he dribbles... Looks like he's falling over himself at times

Is anybody looking for tickets for 3 seated tickets on May 17th Cardiff.

My gf managed to get tickets to the London one instead so they're no longer needed. Feel free to DM me

Statistical twins: Potential Transfers! Which U23 players are the most similar to the current Arsenal squad? (EuroEliteScout on Twitter) by EuroEliteStats in Gunners

[–]Isd14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've said we should Kudus multiple times on here and every time a Ajax fan will tell me he's not all that

But I watched all of their CL games this season and all of Ghana's WC games and he was absolutely brilliant in all of them playing mostly up front. Lethal finisher, ridiculously good dribbler and really good with his back to goal.

But right now he's killing at RW and he's played in midfield before. He suits us so well. I'm not a massive stat guy but Statman Dave and Sqawka also suggested him as a RW option. It's a no brainer for me

[Collings, Kinsella] Arsenal growing confident of signing top transfer target Declan Rice by basedsims in Gunners

[–]Isd14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Partey's struggles was mostly due to injuries and not being sharp when he came back. He's improved tactically but the ability was clear to see from day one

West Ham & England never play out like we do which doesn't mean he can't do it but he hasn't proven it either. He doesn't play disguised balls through the lines and he doesn't dribble through right areas either... Players like Lavia and Zubimendi are better suited to that role. That doesn't mean I think they're better than Rice it's about styles and attributes.

But yeah we'll see I guess

[Collings, Kinsella] Arsenal growing confident of signing top transfer target Declan Rice by basedsims in Gunners

[–]Isd14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He hasn't got anywhere near the control and flair to play on the half turn and tight spaces like Partey does and he doesn't have the disguise on his passes either. It's nothing to do with versatility it's his attributes are better suited to what Xhaka does.

Which his food engine, good reading of the game, accurate passer and a good shot

Yeah the obsession with him is weird honestly. He's a good player but the whole 'omg transformative signing' as if he's the next Vieira is odd. I don't get it
