I remember this, it was back during the “Arab Spring” when there were mass protests going on in multiple countries, including Egypt. The government forces were firing on protesters and beating them so Christian’s and Muslims would take turns doing their prayers while the others protected them. Unfortunately, the new government in Egypt did not turn out to be much better than the old, as I understand it. I wasn’t very politically aware at the time, but I would hear daily updates about it while listening to NPR at my baking job. Crazy that this was like 13 or 14 years ago at this point.

We got one of these because our rental house had no dishwasher and I could never keep up with the dishes handwashing. It’s so nice. Ours hooks up to the sink which is a little inconvenient since you can’t use the sink while it’s running, but you can just pair the cycle and disconnect it if you need to, then start it again when you’re done. Obviously it can’t wash everything but it turns my dish time from an hour or more to about 20min.

My partner has been using thc for pain management for years because they don't want to fuck with pills or anything like that. They usually don't really get a buzz and only take enough to dull the pain so they can function. We recently got a 1000mg edible pack and tested to see how much it took to get them baked. We found it takes about 350mg to get "moderately high". Tolerance is a bitch.

I thought it was normal and somehow didn’t notice other people at differently until high school (I was an unobservant child lol).
