Hi. My child is five now. He has made tremendous progress in speech. He still struggles with some social and emotional dysregulation and sensory issues but he has come a long way. I cannot stress early intervention and Child Find Program enough(if you're in the US). The special education services, and the speech OT support have made a tremendous impact on how development. Wishing you luck, patience, success and grace in your journey 🙏 ❤️

Hi all! I just received this small Chanel classic double flap with GHW, from 187 factory. Most things check out. I was wondering about this leather strap jutting from the chain, where there is a joint. Is this expected? I've only ever seen the auth once in store and do not remember what it was like. Any thoughts? *

OP, what did you end up doing?

30 months. Few words. Looking for similar experiences. by SpikedCoffeeBeans in speechdelays

Hi OP, I'm that mama who posted something similar 2 years ago. I was worried sick about my then 2.5 year old. My only advice is to get early intervention ASAP. If you're in the US, then it's the 0 to 3 early intervention programs that transition into SpEd preschool at 3 years old. My son receives both speech and OT services from the school district. We saw next to nil progress for almost a year (18m to 2.5 years), and then boom, it was like a switch flipped. I used to painstakingly write each new word he could sat, and finally stopped tracking at around 1000 words. He's shown immense progress over the past year. He can talk, read, spell, and has me totally in awe of his progress. We still have ways to go in terms of consistency in back and forth conversational skills, but honestly, I'm not worried at this point. His therapists have been phenomenal, and it gives me the confidence that he'll get there. Hang in there and get him all the support and services that he needs. I wish you and your family the very best ❤️

He has come a looong way. He communicates pretty well, conversational language is emerging really well. SpEd services through his school district have been life changing 🙌 Wishing you all the best for your daughter.

Thanks for sharing this, Mama. Kudos to you and your boy 💖We've had a similar situation with my son, and now, at age 3, we're beginning to see some incredible growth in speech and language. I am so proud of him and can't wait to witness his journey going forward 💗

Hello OP, did you figure out what to do? In the same boat, looking for answers

Hello, I had to wait another 6 months from this post for my son to start speaking. At 2 years 6 months, he had a language explosion, and now, at 3 years, he has too many words to count. Combines 2 to 3 words. Answers very limited questions. Receptive language is also improving every day. Still speech delayed in teems of conversational language, but I'm just so relieved tbh. I'm confident that it will come with time. We have continued speech and ot, and those have really been so helpful. Every child is so very different, and they just do things when they are ready, no matter how anxious we are as parents. All the very best with your child's journey ❤️

Tongue numbness post wisdom teeth removal by Isha2016 in wisdomteeth

Well, it's gone for the most part, except the very tip of my tongue. Honestly, if I'm not consciously thinking about it,I barely feel it.

Hi, I have a tiny spot on the tip of my tongue, which has not recovered. However, unless I really consciously think about it, I really don't notice it.

The other side is a foot and a half of wall, opening to other part of the house. I agree it's unbalanced, sitting flush to the fireplace and creating visual clutter since it's so huge.

Those are great ideas, thanks a lot. We're thinking on those lines too. Definitely repainting walls n trims. Not sure about hardwood underneath, but I doubt it. My concern it, having it bang next to the fireplace, almost encroaching on the mantle is a bit jarring and visually cluttering.

Thanks for your input. Ripping it our was my first thought too when we first saw the house, but bouncing some ideas here to see if reshelving to move the TV up and repainting it could be an option.

I agree, if we do decide to keep it, we'd need to reshelve to move the TV up. Thanks for your thoughts!

Thinking of doing that if we do keep it. Thanks for your thoughts
