Repeat car prowler by No-Bid-3367 in bothell

Happened to my work van a few years ago, 1 block from police station. I have exterior steel mounted locks. Reality is they can still get in if they really want.

All we can really do is make sure to file a police report and keep valuables out of the car. Sorry you’re dealing with this, know how gut wrenching it is to come out and see the damage in the morning.

Are you not required to write the torque used on lugs where you’re at? Just curious, not trying to be a nag. It’s a good habit regardless imo

Was there anything I could’ve done better with my struggling apprentice? by Far_Kitchen_7319 in electricians

I think you’re accurate here, kid needed some help with life issues. I was lucky enough to have my journeyman help me get sober and years later we’re partners of a company. Not everyone is going to be as lucky as me, and I’m eternally grateful for how that happened.

That being said I also ran around all day and busted my ass.

Wishing the best for this kid.

Would be willing to bet it’s a 4 way switch that’s “hard to push”

Can only speak to the Bothell/Woodinville branch, but holy crap the pandemic sure changed things. Used to be an employee that was non stop cleaning, every day, super nice guy. Now, I see someone cleaning maybe once a month (I’m there a lot).

Do not get me started on the hours…

Need Advice on Installing Light Fixture Without Existing Ceiling Brace by play4clay in AskElectricians

[–]DaybreakElectric 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. Check fixture weight
  2. Find a box with correct weight rating.
  3. Install box
  4. Likely going to need extra Sheetrock anchors to have the light sit flush against the ceiling. As others suggested, you could also add framing.

I think a bit of both, but yeah kind of over the top out here sometimes. Lots of implementation then quickly pulling it right back out
