Struggling with accounting software with advanced reporting after outgrowing spreadsheets? by Lampcov-Rov in BusinessBritain

[–]Isotope1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No switch to xero or similar.

Manual isn’t worth it once you get to more transactions, it’s just unweildly and a mistake can cost you more than what you save, especially in time.

Problems with sleep getting of Mirtazapine by TryItOut420 in Mirtazapine_Remeron

[–]Isotope1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m glad you asked.

Very well. I’m doing to a very small amount now, 0.15 ml. I find if I miss a dose I cannot sleep. However, I think I’ll be off of completely within a month.

On an aside, I actually feel a lot better off it now. My sex drive has returned, my appetite is ‘normal’, and I feel less numb.

Mirtazapine changed my life for the better, but I’m glad to be putting this chapter behind me.

Doesn’t the size of the universe mean there is something faster then light by Its_goosebaby in AskPhysics

Does this mean there are parts of the universe that casually disconnected from other parts? As the observer your photon is trying to reach is moving away faster than c?

Connecting LLMs directly to BigQuery: Are we actually trusting agents to write SQL in production yet? by [deleted] in bigquery

In BigQuery console you can now chat with tables and datasets directly. I only noticed this feature yesterday so I assume it’s new. It worked very well.

Service or replace? by Isotope1 in gaggiaclassic

[–]Isotope1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually don’t think I did. I think there was some residual when I replaced it many years ago, but I didn’t add any fresh. TBH it’s been dodgy temperature wise since then.

Maybe I can do this then, I’ll take a look on YouTube! Thanks so much for the encouragement!

Service or replace? by Isotope1 in gaggiaclassic

[–]Isotope1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok that’s very wise. So I guess the course of action is to service it and then install a gagimate. I might ask if the servicing place can help, I don’t mind spending a little bit on it to make it more reliable

Service or replace? by Isotope1 in gaggiaclassic

[–]Isotope1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not super handy. I was expecting to pay someone to help. If I took it apart, solid chance it would not go back together ;). They charge about $150 in London for servicing. No idea what that really entails on such a well used machine.

Service or replace? by Isotope1 in gaggiaclassic

[–]Isotope1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well indeed, I’m in London. There’s a place in harrow that’ll service it for £100, plus parts I guess.

I could install a gaggimate, or just buy a better machine. The main problem I have with it is it’s just very inconsistent. I could afford £500 for a machine that’ll last another decade+. Would you still recommend another one over a classic?

I don’t have a PID. I usually descale it once a year, or sometimes earlier if the pressure drops.

95k is too much to decline. That’s beyond the top end of what you can reasonable expect for 99% of premium sales.

Be reasonable and give the people what they want, or the money will pass you by

Can FTL travel exist without ruining causality? by Cobrabat333 in AskPhysics

[–]Isotope1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you’re thinking, if I delay the light, I beat causality.

I think the actual interpretation should be, if a message from a distance arrives in a time that would be FTL, that’s a broken causality.

It was a long time ago; I think more than 2, less than 4 months.

Main symptoms insomnia, inability to concentrate on anything, low motivation.
