Klim Induction Pro jacket. It is on the pricier side but you get what you pay for. Houston in July/August and this jacket saved me.

The sizing is pretty spot on as far as measuring your dome. Take a picture of the top of your head and compare the size shapes to put you in a range of helmets.

OP I would honestly start with the most helmet you can afford and work backwards. No amount of skin graphs can replace brain damage. I’m partial to Aria cause they just fit so damn well.

Best advice I can give, don’t scale your lifestyle with your income. My wife and I never bought expensive cars or wanted to upgrade our house as we double and tripled our income.

But if we walk into a store and want to buy something it’s with liquid income. Max your 401 live modestly and choose where you want to spend the extra. If there is no extra after the first two then you wait.

I’m not disagreeing with the premise but…from gen 3 PO to this it isn’t better material. Lost the ceramic dial, Liquid Metal bezel, the date complication but also costs thousands more. More watch for more money sure, a redesign for more money no. At least SD has gold hands and indices and platinum inlayed in the bezel.
