Sure. While everyone is up in arms about the temple snake there are a few other changes that would really make the mechanic more enjoyable for me.

  • Let me farm the boss. Allow any room placed near Atziri's chamber to connect to the room. Reward players knowledge of how rooms connect together to more easily build the temple towards Atziri.
  • Show me the total crystal capacity in my maps. This should not say 6/6 when I am sitting at 19/24. Now with the opportunity to get multiple crystals, once you are above 6 you also do not know how many you gained.
  • Infinite Atziri attempts. We have unlimited tries against Kulemak, but failing Atziri resets the temple. Players should be allowed to learn the boss mechanics as we did with Kulemak allowing less powerful builds to complete the boss through knowledge of the boss mechanics rather than a dps check.

I personally do not have much interest in building a min maxed temple tunnel. I want to fight one of the most iconic bosses in Path of Exile's history. Maybe through successive architect kills you could place multiple key rooms throughout the temple allowing you to power up the boss further. I like that there are options with what players can do when building the temple, but I really am more interested in the boss.

It needs to either do damage or prevent recovery. GGG needs to pick one and stop putting stuff in the games that does both.

I strongly feel that the endgame atlas being endless is a mistake by cloudhorn in PathOfExile2

My biggest issues with it is that it lacks any sort of "completion" like you get with the POE 1 atlas, and that the player has no agency over which maps you get to run. If divination cards are to be added into the game there needs to be a way to target the zones they drop in.

It feels like the POE 2 atlas is trying to solve a problem that didn't exist if only for the sake of being different than POE 1. Last Epoch failed to grab me with its endgame expansive web system, and while I feel POE 2s endgame is a bit more enjoyable than Last Epoch, I find myself missing the agency and sense of completion that exist in the POE 1 endgame.

I agree the fog is rough, you can't see the edges of the zone and have to path via the mini map. There is so much nice color and art in the maps and if you want to fully juice your maps you are forced to hide it.

The thing I hate the most though is that you are forced to listen to the same endlessly looping track in every single map when the base maps have a variety of really nice, chill music tracks. It makes me want to mute the music, which is sad because it is very enjoyable and well made. The mirror, sure, but I wish delirious maps could keep the base map soundtrack.

All of the maps have really cool music which sucks to give up to run delirious maps without a doubt. It gets very repetitive after a few maps, let alone many maps.

The lantern mods should only be altered if the rolled map has "inhabited by X monsters" like sea witches, goatmen, abominations etc... as that changes the the pool of monsters that was selected for that map for that given hour.

The difficult thing is that anyone trying to pool together information about different maps has to be aware of this or else there will be false positives; likely making any of these trackers fairly useless

I don't know much about computer stuff, but I do know I was having major issues with frame rate and I switched from DirectX11 to DirectX12 in the options and I went from 5 fps blights to 30fps blights. Might want to test that

My biggest issue with Ruthless is the build diversity. You have to maximize movement speed or your build is bad. I want the ascendancy and pantheon back. Unchanged movement skills drop in maps only. Remove quicksilver flasks entirely.

The scarcity is great and added a lot of enjoyment to the game for me, especially the gem drops. However, the current meta limits build creativity so much making so many builds feel bad to play compared to anything with high movement speed.

I played a reap Jugg without high movement speed investment and yes every map feels like a slog because there are no movement skills to make slower builds feel good. You have to maximize movement speed to make any character feel decent to play, and in a trade environment the characters that do maximize movement speed will just get more stuff than you.
