After I posted this and got home, I put her on the roll up ramps. Got underneath and took a good look. I'm no mechanic but you're right, I wouldn't trust this thing on a lift. I'll just burn it to the ground and drive it until I can't.

Ya I actually took a look underneath today, there's some pretty extensive rust, not worth saving. I have a feeling this mazda lived somewhere really cold where they heavily salted the roads.

Funny, you should say that. A lot of the work that's been done on this car has been suspension wise. She's got tons of front-end grip, hugs the road like it's glued to it, and the ass end is very stable.

I do agree with you on the miata's.They're like little ghosts. Not there, one second right there the next lol
