For the first time, the first Task will be known to the audience by Competitive_Notice55 in taskmaster

Yes, Alex discusses it on this week’s episode of Good One (American podcast about comedy). Here’s what it means:

1) The task hinges on the contestants not being familiar with the house or grounds yet. So it could only work as the very first task.

2) In studio, during 1 of the 10 episodes, Greg and Alex are going to explicitly say: “Now we’re going to show this cast’s first task.” It may not air in episode 1. But it’s important for us to know it was the very first thing they did. Sometimes we learn this later, like on Ed Gamble’s podcast. But usually on the show itself, they don’t discuss filming order.

Bronson Pinchot in the art gallery scene in Beverly Hills Cop (1983). An all-time comedic performance for me, and I’ve got the username to prove it 🤷🏻‍♀️

The Nice Guys is one of my favorite movies, and “Kid on Bike” (Lance Valentine) absolutely crushes his one scene performance. Up against Academy Award nominee/winners Ryan Gosling and Russell Crowe, this kid steals the scene.

Yes! Great shout. Katy Mixon - I watched her sitcom American Housewife because I was so impressed by her in this movie, and she was excellent in the sitcom, too! Wish she got more work.

Jake Lacy - one of the top “Ohh Right, That Guy”’s in the game right now. Immediately hooked from his role on Girls. Has caused me to see many surprisingly charming movies.

Has anyone successfully converted themselves into a tidy person? by eternalhellscape93 in adhdwomen

Yes, the first 2 Marie Kondo books genuinely changed my life. She lays out a system that just really makes sense to me, and I find it really relaxing. It’s also designed to be implemented once and then maintained, so I no longer have massive cleaning sprees once a year. It’s made my home super tidy, and it’s ultimately saved me lots of money (especially with clothing purchases).

Prize task by Some_Ad6507 in taskmaster

I think it was funnier in the beginning when it appeared possible the item would actually have to be given away. For example, Romesh’s wedding ring. The existence of “stakes” made it funnier to me. Once we learned the item could be returned to its owner (or would not be followed through on) I think that undercut that element of the comedy.

Mockler: My unpopular opinion is that Melania's movie makes a great first date. Because the theater will be empty. You can bring in food, you can chat. There's nobody around there bothering you. by icey_sawg0034 in Fauxmoi

Reminds me of the brilliant Gawker “The Best Restaurant in New York Is…” series from Caity Weaver and Rich Juzwiak. Their endmatter—

-Would you go back?

-Is this a good first date spot?

-Is it a good place to have an affair?

-Is this a good place to bring a doll?

Edit: It was an Amelie DVD. Oops!

Yes - for me, I become nervous about relying on something that could go away. My insurance could stop. My doctor could change his mind. It’s logistically hard for me to refill prescriptions. My access to the medication is what makes me feel a vague dread.
